Regarding the 'completely imputed Alaya-vijñana that exists,' that is, the Alaya-vijñana that relies on the body, even without the body, it constantly exists, which is merely the meaning of complete imputation. Therefore, how can one speak of 'individually self-aware'? Among them, 'by that' refers to the view of formless consciousness-only. Therefore, since self-aware wisdom is merely completely imputed, how can one speak of its inherent existence? If individually self-aware wisdom exists, one must point out 'the inherent nature is this.' What is said as 'individually self-aware' and so on, among them, 'the agent of individually self-aware' refers to formless consciousness-only. 'That' refers to individually self-aware wisdom. 'As an entity' means believing it exists in ultimate truth. Like this, they also believe it is an entity, and they also say 'cannot be expressed,' meaning it is not awareness, among them, 'this' refers to the manifest. 'Cannot' means lacking power. Therefore, 'with one's own certainty for others,' means that the view of the consciousness-only school of individually self-aware, after one has ascertained 'this is it' as the self-aware dharma for oneself, for other internal and external views, one should generate certainty with that self-aware wisdom, if one has not ascertained it for oneself, one cannot make others certain. Like that, for the views of the consciousness-only school, 'the good ones have all inquired,' meaning that those who follow with faith will surely abide. What is it like? 'Those who are always without doubt,' because they lack knowledge, they do not engage in investigation. Furthermore, refuting self-awareness is 'with feeling' and so on. Among them, feeling is experienced as self-awareness. Feeling is the meaning of self-awareness, feeling refers to the action of awareness. These three arise in mutual dependence, therefore without the object of feeling, there is no feeling. The meaning is like this: first, if the feeler has not become the object of feeling, it cannot become the object of feeling. Similarly, if there is no object of feeling and no action, the feeler will not arise, because one feels the object of feeling, therefore one is the feeler. Therefore, there is merely no object of feeling and no feeler.
