Or, the characteristic of conditioned phenomena is arising, etc. Precisely because of that, the so-called unborn is because it is neither existent nor non-existent. For example, all phenomena cannot arise from existence, because they have already arisen. Non-existence is like a turtle's egg. The so-called unspeakable is because the letters of the names of speech do not occur simultaneously, so ultimately there is no such thing as speech, just like the previous occurrence. The unconditioned is because the characteristic of the conditioned is not made simultaneously, nor is it accomplished gradually. For example, when it arises, if there is no abiding at that time, then what will arise? Because it does not abide. Even at the same time, if it is not born, there is no abiding. So how is it? Like the sky and, that is it. Like the sky and, it is said. Bodhicitta is non-discriminating wisdom. Bodhi is the direct realization of phenomena without distortion. The characteristic of non-duality is that the sky and bodhicitta are not separate, they are not different. For example, just as the sky exists in name, but does not exist ultimately, so bodhicitta also exists in true conventional truth, but does not exist ultimately. That meaning is: emptiness wisdom is like the sky. Because it is both emptiness and wisdom, emptiness wisdom is without self-nature. It is like the sky, existing in name, but not existing when analyzed. That meaning is related to the Buddha knows. What kind of Buddha? The Buddha who makes the three times a dwelling place and realizes the three times. What kind of thing is that? Realizing all the essence of bodhi. Because it has the wisdom of knowing everything. The great self is the great emptiness, because it is considered to be self-nature. To the Buddha who has such qualities, emptiness wisdom knows, that is the meaning. Therefore, the Bodhisattva should practice. What is said is from the beginning of all phenomena, because the place of all phenomena is the nature of the aggregates, etc. Peace is the nature of auspiciousness such as the initial goodness. No place is

It is to realize that there is no aspect that contradicts self-nature. The rest has already been said. However, such as "The unborn is emptiness," etc., when the aggregates and other dharmas do not exist, emptiness is a concept that is realized. The so-called "without an object of focus" means that what arises from the mind and mental factors is not an object of focus. The so-called "weak intellect" refers to those who have heard little or are beginners. "He does not meditate on it," means that emptiness is the antidote to all things. "That meditator does not meditate," that is the meaning. Thus, in the Root Wisdom Treatise, it is said: "By cutting off all views, the Victorious Ones speak of emptiness. Whoever holds a view of emptiness, that one is difficult to cure." So, what is the nature of emptiness, which is the characteristic of no-mind? It is "virtue and" and so on. Virtue is the opposite of evil, that is, refraining from killing, etc. Or, like wisdom as sharp as the tip of kusha grass is virtue, and the opposite of that is non-virtue. Knowing these two as their own characteristics is the discrimination of virtue and non-virtue. These are connected through the causal relationship of cause and effect, which is "continuity." Also, because it arises and ceases in every moment, it is said to be the nature of "cessation." The Buddha said that, like this, virtue and non-virtue are non-different as emptiness. Therefore, it is said that one does not desire anything other than emptiness, that is, all views do not desire any other emptiness in conventional truth other than the interdependence of virtue and non-virtue. So, what is the nature of the empty mind that is not separate from conventional truth? "The mind without representation, abides in the nature of space." It means that the mind without anything to be represented by words such as "exists" and "does not exist" abides in accordance with the nature of space. For example, ordinary people in the world would use the term "space." But in ultimate truth, it is like the nature of no self-nature. Therefore, mastering the meditation on space is wanting to meditate on emptiness. Mastering is realizing the meaning. Therefore, in the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, it is also said, "Subhuti! Meditating on space is going to the Perfection of Wisdom."

It is the meaning of practicing. Thus, being inseparable from all conventional dharmas, it is emptiness. Therefore, the dharma of those who contemplate emptiness is emptiness, which is said to be emptiness, etc. Among them, emptiness is a lion, just as a lion frightens mountain deer, all those who speak of reality, that is, what is said by heretics, etc. Therefore, heretics speak of inner and outer things as entities, and the two of the Hearers' Vehicle speak of external things as entities. The Mind-Only school says that it is only consciousness. No matter what is entered that is similar to it, it is said that those views are also without self-nature. Thus, after generally saying that views are emptiness, it is also said that the Mind-Only school is only the nature of emptiness, that is, "whose consciousness," etc. Those of the Mind-Only school, whoever becomes a momentary consciousness, their consciousness is not constant, because all moments are impermanent. Therefore, "the impermanent mind does not contradict emptiness," because impermanence and emptiness are not contradictory and have the same meaning. Thus, the view of the Mind-Only school must also admit that consciousness is only emptiness. Furthermore, other consciousnesses, the impermanence of the mind, etc., all four views agree that the mind is momentary. Among them, the four views are the Sarvastivada, etc., because taking refuge in the Three Jewels, as well as the selflessness and the belief in impermanence are the same. Therefore, those, etc., that is to say, those four views are sick, so it is reasonable to admit that the mind is emptiness. Furthermore, the reasoning stated by the Madhyamaka school, "things are without self-nature, the mind is established, at all times," that is to say, the mind that is not produced from the front is only a dependent relationship, and it is the concluding remark that exists in the three times. Therefore, "because things are without self-nature, it is said to be without self-nature." If the aggregates and consciousness are analyzed, because they are without self-nature, they are without essence. If it is also said in words, "after abandoning the one who dwells in me," etc., that is to say, in accordance with the view of the Buddha, abiding in the view of selflessness, and again the Mind-Only school.
