The feeler and the object of feeling are characteristics of the conventional, but in the ultimate sense, they are not what the Buddha taught, that is its meaning. Thus, having spoken of the inner dependent origination, now the outer is spoken of, which is "this also" and so on. "This" refers to the vessel world. What is produced by relationship is produced from relational interdependence, that is its meaning. For example, in the ultimate sense, it is produced by common karmic cause and effect, that is its meaning. Its example is "sprout" and so on. Although it does not exist in any aspect of the seed and so on and the skin and so on, just as different relationships arise, so too are the inner and outer phenomena, that is its meaning. Therefore, what is it like in the ultimate sense? Like illusion and so on. Among them, the outer is the compounded phenomenon, the aggregate of form, because it is the characteristic of relational dependent origination. If it is said that it is not permissible for cause and effect phenomena to arise from non-existence in this way, then "phenomena" and so on, that is, the phenomena of the aggregates and so on, in the conventional sense, there is no contradiction in arising from one's own seed or cause. Why? Because the cause is also the emptiness of the cause itself, that is, whatever becomes the cause of phenomena, the nature of that cause is not established, therefore it is without self-nature. For example, the ignorance that is the cause of formation is the fruit of the cause of craving and grasping in the previous life. Similarly, the formation that is the cause of consciousness is the fruit of ignorance. Thus, since the nature of cause and effect appears in one thing, it is merely interdependence, and the cause itself is the nature of "this is this." Therefore, the phenomena that arise from the cause being without self-nature should be known as unborn. Because if there is a cause, there is birth. Thus, the unborn phenomena are widely known as emptiness. Because the nature of its cause does not exist, there is no birth, and the unborn phenomenon is known as emptiness, thus the Blessed One spoke, this is the concluding statement. What is the unborn phenomenon? In brief, it is the aggregates, elements, and so on, which are spoken of there. Thus, if the phenomena are unborn, then from where do they arise in the conventional sense? Like "how" and so on, that is, "that itself" refers to the ultimate

Because it is without inherent existence, it is without change. Why? Because it is conventional truth, meaning the two truths are inseparable. If that meaning is said to be conventional truth, why? Because it is unrelated and undetermined. Wherever there is a conventional truth, there is the emptiness of ultimate truth, like fire and smoke. Its example is like something made is impermanent. Something made is like a conditioned thing such as a pot, impermanence is destruction, because it is under the power of conditions. Therefore, it is shown that where there is something conditioned, there is destruction. Thus, if suchness and conventional truth become one, how can liberation be attained? The so-called conventional truth and so on, means the two types of conventional truth are afflictions, because the six roots make the mind itself afflicted, and prevent future virtue from arising, and obscure what has already arisen. That should be understood as ignorance. Therefore, conventional truth arises from afflictions. Due to the power of afflictions, virtuous actions and so on give rise to thoughts. Thoughts also arise from actions. It is shown that virtuous actions and so on are the place of habitual tendencies, and thoughts arise. The mind is the suffering of habitual tendencies, and that mind is also virtuous and so on, because it is tormented by the habitual tendencies of actions. If one knows the nature of the habitual tendencies of suffering and abandons them, it means eliminating habitual tendencies is happiness. Thus, it should be understood that the mind is capable. The mind of happiness is peace, meaning there are no afflictions, because the mind contemplates detachment. Therefore, the peaceful mind is not ignorant. Because it does not obscure the realization of the true meaning. Because of non-ignorance, one realizes that nature. It is the meaning of the ultimate truth, the nature of emptiness. By realizing that nature, one attains accomplishment. One attains nirvana, meaning liberation from the three sufferings. Therefore, it is profoundly taught that that supreme bodhicitta is emptiness. Because the emptiness of no inherent existence is profoundly taught within bodhicitta. The difference of that bodhicitta, which is emptiness without inherent existence, is taught as: thus, that nature, because it is without change. It is the ultimate limit of truth, meaning without inversion.
