Therefore, 'outer' and so forth means the outer is grasping as mine, such as a vase. The inner is 'I' and so forth. If it abides in causes and conditions? If it is able, it is called 'if able' and so forth, wherein 'if' is in a hundred paths. 'Ability' is the distinction of power. 'What if' is a question. 'Reliance' is abiding. 'Its' means examination. All things are the realm of the world. 'Producing at one time' is doing together without contradiction. 'If' is called refuting other proponents. 'If it relies on others' is called establishing on causes and conditions. Therefore, it is not constant and does not possess ability. Because it is not done at one time and relies on causes. Therefore, if the examination of things itself does not exist, if examined with wisdom, all things will become impermanent. That impermanence, immediately after, things arise and perish moment by moment. Among them, 'constant' means in the three times, the cause that has acted as cause and effect, that cause should be known as the constant of the Tirthikas. 'Thing' is called already spoken. 'Moment' is the end of time, in one snap of a great athlete's fingers, sixty-five units of time cease. Therefore, because things are impermanent, who can deceive the doer, it means like this. Among them, the impermanent moment arises and perishes, the entity has just been determined and has already passed. 'Doer' is Ishvara and so forth. 'Who can deceive' means that no view that possesses truth can prevent it. Having thus refuted the views of the Tirthikas, in order to establish the views of the Hearers as primary, what is said is: 'Form' and so forth. Among them, 'form' is because it has obstruction and can be touched. That is also eleven, namely the five senses, the five objects, and the form that is not expressive. 'Feeling' is pleasure and pain and equanimity, that is also eighteen kinds of eye aggregate and contact and so forth. 'Perception' is the nature of grasping characteristics. 'Volition' is the nature different from the four aggregates. Non-associated form and mind and mental factors are countless. All five aggregates are volition.

Since it is so, why is it that only this one is established as the aggregate of formations? Because it is not merely possessed of formations that are neither form, nor mind, nor any mind, but fourteen kinds. Consciousness is the nature of individually distinguishing, that is, the six kinds such as eye consciousness. These are called the five aggregates, refuting the four and six aggregates, because as given by the god, there are no six aggregates. The speaker says that in the Lesser Vehicle Sutras, the three times, the four statements, and the four determinations are also taught as the five aggregates. Why are they taught? To benefit the hearers. Hearers are Arhat Buddhas, because they listen to the teachings of the teacher and thus realize the four parts of discernment in one lifetime. Benefit means becoming better later. Explanation of the meaning of abandoning the aggregates, etc.: Now, the explanation of "Aggregates, realms, and sources, the grasped and the grasper are all abandoned." As it is said, "There is no self, etc. in the world," the word "etc." includes fifteen kinds such as the person. If examined, it is not established, that is, it does not exist. Even such aggregates should be destroyed, because in the Great Vehicle, the five aggregates are negated, and the nature of the three realms, etc., is established as only consciousness. Not only are the aggregates negated, but also the realms, etc., how are they negated? As it is said, "Form is like a bubble," etc., because of the weakness of its nature, it is like a bubble and cannot be touched. Therefore, form is also like that. Instantaneously destroyed like a water bubble, because feeling is also the immediate arising of suffering after the arising of pleasure. Because appearance is also non-existent, it is like a mirage. Similarly, perception is also, if a pillar is divided into root, middle, and root, there is no perception of it. Because there is no essence, it is like a plantain tree. Formation is also, although it appears outwardly as the law of samsara, it has no essence, because it is merely dependent origination. Because it deceives others, it is like an illusion. Similarly, consciousness is also, because it appears as knowledge in the absence of knower and known. Therefore, teaching the aggregates, etc., is to become a law to be learned. "All" means all different aspects.
