You consider that external objects are also a kind, meaning that objects of happiness are also a kind. The so-called "also" refers to being similar to other categories. Consciousness completely enters into happiness, because even happiness is regarded as suffering by the noble ones, because it is the suffering of change. The so-called "that is happiness" and so on, refers to the arising of tranquility and non-tranquility, which are the acting forms, namely beauty and ugliness. Happiness and suffering themselves will transform each other, that is, happiness turns into suffering, and suffering turns into happiness. What is the example of that? For example, "women" and so on, the so-called "one" refers to the unique body, referring to the body with youth, referring to that unique body. For that body, the wanderers everywhere are the heretics, practicing the contemplation of impurity. The rest is easy to understand. Therefore, the measure of caste and so on that is said is only non-existence. If external objects do not exist, wouldn't it become meaningless? "A yaksha acts in a dream," and so on, a dream is suppressed by the two afflictions of proximity, and appears under the influence of habits, realms, and non-humans. Just like for that reason, even if there is no intercourse with a woman, the harm of semen discharge will occur, even if external objects do not exist, they can perform actions such as seeing. Therefore, it is said to be "non-self-nature," because in addition to the appearance of the mind, it can also act, so there is no self-nature of things. If there is no difference between sleeping and waking? "Dream is" and so on, just like in a dream, harm can be caused without objects, in waking, it can also be established that only without external objects can actions be performed, because if analyzed, it will be found that it is only the confusion of the grasper and the grasped. So, what is the nature of the grasper and the grasped? "Grasper" and so on, in addition, due to the power of discrimination, the Mind-Only school believes that it is only the mind, the real objects of the grasper and the grasped. The so-called "great" means difference. That meaning is: "Without consciousness, no external objects exist." In this way, through reasoning, the external objects are refuted, thereby greatly establishing the Mind-Only school, starting from "things," and elaborating on this.
