Nāpo said. Like this, nature, aspect, object, ground, lineage, attainment, giving refuge to the helpless, inequality and equality. Among them, nature is the nature without the three times. Aspect is compassion for those who suffer from the three kinds of suffering. Object is compassion for all sentient beings in the three realms. Ground is because there is no inability, special meditative concentration, and compassion arises in the fourth dhyana. Lineage is compassion for Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and ordinary beings. Attainment is obtained from being separated from the afflictions of the desire realm and the peak of existence. Giving refuge is for the fear of the great cycle of existence. Inequality and equality are because of compassion for countless sentient beings. Therefore, becoming gentle is because it is moistened by compassion, because there is no anger. Being moistened by compassion is also because the mind is also like that, so it is a mind moistened by compassion, because it separates sentient beings from suffering and the cause of suffering, so it is the habit of wisdom. "By" means cultivation. The tone of "of" indicates the meaning of determination. Diligence is steadfast in cultivating without inversion. "Should be cultivated" means to familiarize the mind with the qualities of abiding in bodhicitta. Bodhicitta is cultivated by the Buddhas of the three times. Thus it is said. What is taught is "Buddha's compassion" and so on. The meaning of the explanation of being separated from all things. The explanation of "separated from all things" earlier starts from "heretics." Heretics refer to the Vaiśeṣika school and so on. They fabricate non-existent things in an inverted way, that is, establish, saying "I exist." The tone of "what" is a general indication, which is a general term for "I" and "person" and so on. Related to this is "that." Reason refers to direct perception and so on. Direct perception refers to being free from conceptualization and without error, that is, the senses and so on. Inference refers to analyzing with the three modes and so on, that is, self-interest and so on. Examination is analysis. If analyzed with reason, it will become like this: In all the aggregates, there is no lord.

It is shown that there is no self-nature of "I" that is the same or different from placing objects in a container. If "I" is permanent, then the five aggregates exist, because they are subject to impermanent conditions. The "I" that is similar to this is not the form aggregate. The impermanent "I" like the five aggregates is not the essence of self-nature, because the non-Buddhists believe that the five aggregates of the body will constantly replace each other, thus making the "I" permanent. Therefore, the view that the five aggregates are the "I" in the same or different way is not established. Then, is it established like placing objects in a container? Through the way of the dependent and the depended, neither permanence nor impermanence exists. The dependent is like a container, referring to the five aggregates. The depended is like an object, referring to "I". In this way, neither permanence nor impermanence exists, just as happiness and suffering cannot coexist, permanence cannot coexist with impermanence, so there is no so-called "I". If "I" is not established, then persons and so on will not be established. Because there is no so-called "I", so "because" and so on. Among them, "author" refers to the agent and the one who causes to act, and so on. Why? "If the subject exists" and so on. If the "I" as the subject, that is, the agent, is established, then the agent and the one who causes to act and other dharmas exist, then how can the dharmas such as non-existence exist? They will not exist. Among them, the subject refers to "I", because it has the characteristic of being the master. The so-called "dharmas" refers to the dharmas that are considered to be "I". The world refers to samsara, because it is impermanent due to birth and death. If there is a subject that is accessible to thought, then it is definitely thought that if there is a dharma, then the subject exists. Having refuted "I" in this way, refute the examination, that is, starting from "gradually". Among them, "gradually" refers to before and after. "Simultaneously" refers to the same time. Why is the permanent thing not created? Permanent refers to self-nature, freedom, etc., because even if it transforms into other dharmas in state, its essence remains unchanged. The fruit to be produced by it refers to things, that is, external objects. If examined with wisdom, then the examination is meaningless, because it depends on causes and conditions. It will not be established simultaneously either, because the world arises from different states before and after.
