I, too, shall come to an end. As a lamp appears in the darkness, And dispels all darkness, So, all the sins accumulated from thousands of lifetimes, Are quickly dispelled by the lamp of recitation. Whatever sins have been committed in other lifetimes, All arise from recitation. Through recitation, all sins come into being. Controlled by karma, without a master, Without protector or support, from one lifetime to another, What follows the transformation of the body? Good and non-good follow after it. The root of mantra is first of all discipline, Then diligence and patience, Faith in the Victorious Ones and the mind of enlightenment, And the absence of laziness in secret mantra. Those who are detached from desire and virtuous, Always keep the Three Jewels in mind, Those who abandon sins and possess recitation, For such people, divine substances and attainments are not far off. Just as you have said, If people practice well, They will quickly dispel the darkness of poverty, And burn brightly like the sun. Limbs will not fail, nor will the mind, Illness and suffering, bodily decay will not occur, Those who have faith in you will attain it. Body, speech, and mind, hands, feet, and eyes, The space between the eyebrows, the various postures of the limbs, Completely restrained, with the mind focused on that, Abiding in loving-kindness, sitting on a cushion of kusha grass. As long as one remains single-pointed, Then recite a hundred thousand or twenty thousand times. Just as an angry king of beasts, Kills an elephant with great power, Similarly, the practitioner quickly kills pigs and deer, And foxes as well. Similarly, the mantra practitioner, with the posture of a lion, For the superior, intermediate, and inferior activities, Should practice with great diligence, And with the best of efforts. The dream of one who possesses a single-pointed mind, Arises with great joy from the mind. Joy causes the body to become very supple. With a supple body, one will be fortunate to have bliss. With a blissful body, single-pointed mind, and samadhi, Then recitation will be without doubt. Rejoicing in the approach of accomplishment and the reversal of obstacles, The mind will never delight in sin. Hunger, thirst, heat, wind, cold, and sloth, Oppressed by intense suffering

Also unmoving. Flies, flesh flies, insects, ants, dung beetles, etc., Scorpions, snakes, eight-legged creatures, and those resembling snakes, Those who consume rotten flesh, they also do not, Tread on its body or shadow. Words are suitable to be heard, and the mind is upright, Skilled in poetry and questions. Extremely joyful in the Dharma, seeing treasures, etc., The body's diseases and defilements are all eliminated. Whether beings see or hear, in any case, Quickly become extremely joyful and pleasing. Women who are struck by the arrows of the god of desire, Desire for the enjoyment of the god of desire. Whenever the wise see and hear the bodies and voices of gods and yakshas, Gandharva goddesses, People see and hear with joyful minds, At that time, they become extremely close. For example, in a windless house, Like a lamp that is erected and burns without moving, By reciting with a focused mind and being extremely joyful, The Dharma on the body also burns in the same way. Look at the tip of the nose and abandon conceptual thoughts, Whenever it arises, it does not move, At that time, one obtains abiding in the object, By this, the mind becomes workable. The Buddha spoke of these eight limbs, Right livelihood, the limit of action, and samadhi, etc., Effort, thought, mindfulness, and view, Each and every limb should be relied upon. Even if afraid, do not prostrate to Brahma, Indra, Vishnu, and, Fierce winds, etc. Do not rely on their teachings, Do not practice their austerities, do not observe. Do not have evil thoughts about their Dharma, And never rejoice in their conduct. Do not drive them, do not recite evil mantras, Giving, great giving, and after generating compassion, Are relied upon by all the Sugatas. One should prostrate to the places and all the Buddha-sons. One should prostrate to the Pratyekabuddhas and the Hearers of the Victors, They are always the places of prostration. How When the moon waxes, people Prostrate, but do not prostrate to fish and other sentient beings. Likewise, one should prostrate with faith to the Buddha-sons of the Victors, One should prostrate, but not in the same way to the Sugatas. The highly learned of all the worlds, The nature of great compassion, for the sake of benefiting sentient beings, Taking birth here, why Do not all prostrate to the only protector? Inconceivable men, wondrous miracles
