Arising. The name "Arising" comes from the ten syllables of Hūṃ. The name "Left Extension" is an approximate representation, meaning to abide in the posture previously described. The name "Burning light radiates, causing fear" means to please the king of limitless wrathful deities. The name "Ten" also means to please the elevenfold king of Harm-Beauty. In order to bestow commands upon them, it should be explained: At the summit of the ten-direction mandala, one should contemplate in sequence. In order to completely destroy all obstacles, Harm-Beauty issues commands and affixes with the stake. As it is said, those ten wrathful deities, at the summit of the ten-direction mandala, that is, at the edge of one's own ten directions, in sequence, that is, as the sequence is, one should contemplate in sequence from the east, that is, one should look with laughter and clarity. Within that, the eleventh Harm-Beauty is the form of the command, the command is bestowed, all obstacles are the protectors of the world, that is, the powerful ones and so on, in order to destroy them, the ritual of affixing with the stake should be performed, which is the meaning of uprightness. Light has ten moments, that is, the five signs such as mirages, and the five moments that transcend them. These prevent the obstacles of the ten winds, therefore it is called a stake. The one who precedes the light is Harm-Beauty, which is the definitive meaning. The mantra for affixing the stake should be recited: Oṃ suṃbha ni suṃbha hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ. Gṛhṇa gṛhṇa hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ. Gṛhṇāpaya gṛhṇāpaya hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ. Ānaya ho bhagavāna vidyārāja vajra hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ. As it is said, then, in order to summon the lord of obstacles with the wrathful vajra, with the mudrā of the threatening finger and thumb, in order to urge the ten directions, this mantra is issued to Harm-Beauty. Oṃ is Vajradhara. Suṃbha is summoning. Ni suṃbha is suppressing obstacles. Hūṃ is the essence of the immovable. The second Hūṃ is urging the essence. Phaṭ is for killing. Gṛhṇa gṛhṇa is those who have gone, bind, bind. Gṛhṇāpaya gṛhṇāpaya is the retinue, bind, bind. Having bound, bring them to my presence, ānaya ho, that is, lead. Bhagavāna vajra is summoning with faith.

The drinker, riding the bull king, together with Uma. Above are Brahma, the sun, and the moon, that is, one face, two hands, yellow, red, and white. Holding a gunja, a garland, a lotus, and a water lily, residing on a swan, a horse, and a water lily, together with Fame Mother, Light Mother, and Beji. Below is a black copper-patterned curtain, one face, two hands, holding a sword and a threatening mudra, riding an elephant, and the earth goddess also appears half-bodied, yellow, with two hands holding golden vases, all of whom are together with sons, daughters, and retinues, and one should contemplate not making noise. Then, by the command of the wrathful Vajra, the king of harming beauty takes out the ten wrathful ones, like a single-pointed vajra, the upper body being in the form of a wrathful one, and with the hammer of the nature of Hayagriva, one should contemplate striking the crowns of the heads of the hundred gods and others. When driving in the stake, one should contemplate the ten wrathful ones as being like the Bhagavan Ambrosia Swirl, like a blue lotus, because the Ambrosia Swirl is all activities. Then, one should contemplate those kings of wrath sending those obstacles down to the seventh level of the earth. From that which arises, the assembly of blazing wrathful ones, around the encircling iron mountain, burns those retinues, yakshas, rakshasas, bhutas, flesh-eaters, pretas, madmen, kumbhandas, and others, turning them into ashes, and one should visualize that the wind of the breath of the letter Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ,Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं,Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ,Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) arising from the mouths of the wrathful ones carries them away, making them invisible, thus showing that the obstacles together with the retinue are completely pacified. In order to explain that very thing, the Vajra Ambrosia Great King, the color of the petals of the blue lotus, possessing the light of blazing garlands, contemplate the Vajra stake. As it is said, when driving in the stake, the practitioner contemplates that the Vajra Ambrosia is the Ambrosia Swirl, that is the Great King, that is, the chief among all the wrathful ones, because it arises from the lineage of all activities. The color of the petals of the blue lotus is green. Possessing the light of blazing garlands, means causing the flames of the wrathful ones to blaze.
