The commentary on the abbreviated sadhana, called "The Jewel Garland." Ratnakara Shanti. The commentary on the abbreviated sadhana, called "The Jewel Garland." Ratnakara Shanti. In Sanskrit: Pindakrita-sādhanopika-vritti-ratnavali-nāma. In Tibetan: The commentary on the abbreviated sadhana, called "The Jewel Garland. Homage to glorious Vajrasattva! The single body of all Buddhas, I prostrate to the great Vajradhara, This commentary on the abbreviated, I shall explain to clarify the meaning. Before the glorious Nagarjuna, How the oral instructions reside in his heart, Likewise, it is unfolded like An image in a mirror. The circle of the noble ones is very difficult to understand, I shall clearly illuminate it. When the sun illuminates all directions, There is no confusion on the wrong path. Here, the nature of the body of the Bhagavan Vajrasattva, for the benefit of beings, is manifested as the youth Sarvarthasiddha, on the bank of the Nairanjana River, under the Bodhi tree. He entered into the samadhi called "Immovable," which is the collection of the sixteen emptinesses. Thinking, "I have attained perfect and complete enlightenment," he remained unmoving like a rock. At that time, on the summit of existence, the wheel of the mandala in order, or the measure of five thousand yojanas, in the order of above and below, the five Buddhafields of the nature of the seven precious jewels, blessed by the five Tathagatas, such as Abhirati, Akanishta, Ratnasambhava, Sukhavati, and Pushpavati, shook. The five Buddhas arising from samadhi also knew, by the power of knowing the minds of others, the samadhi of blessing that the youth Sarvarthasiddha had entered. At that time, with mutual agreement, they approached the place where the youth Sarvarthasiddha was staying. Having approached, they pervaded the sky like a sesame pod, saying: O Sarvarthasiddha Bodhisattva, this meditation is not the cause for attaining the ultimate state, so abandon it! The words of the Tathagatas

Having heard this, he arose from his samadhi and, with his divine eye, gazed upon the expanse of space filled with the boundless bodies of the Tathagatas. He knelt on both knees, made four prostrations, and prayed, saying: "Bhagavan, what is true samadhi?" As soon as he heard these words, the Bhagavan, Akshobhya, and others emanated from their hearts four goddesses, such as the Eye of the Nature of Wisdom Mudra. First, they bestowed empowerment with a wheel of light, and then the teachers and others bestowed the four empowerments. Then, in stages, such as the four yogas, they briefly revealed the oral instructions, caused him to enter into perfect enlightenment, and then disappeared. The Bodhisattva also attained the eleventh bhumi, became enlightened at midnight, vanquished the maras at dawn, and then went to the Tushita heaven. Having arrived, he emanated a palace of the nature of the seven precious substances. From his heart, he emanated the five Tathagatas. After they made their request, he spoke the glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra in twenty-five thousand verses. In order to benefit sentient beings who possess the five degenerations of lifespan, views, afflictions, beings, and time, and who are inferior in wisdom and diligence, he again made a request, saying: "Bhagavan, please grant a condensed tantra, because the sentient beings who appear now are unable to grasp the vast meaning." The Bhagavan Vajradhara, who possesses great compassion, also condensed it from that and spoke the tantra of eighteen chapters and one hundred and eighteen sections. Vajrapani was also the compiler, and he caused it to enter the human realm in a gradual sequence from one to another. From then on, scriptures and so forth appeared. Because in the perfect age of about two million years, there were only oral instructions passed down by word of mouth. In the age of three unions, the root tantra appeared, and in the age of two unions, the branches that establish the root tantra appeared, and in the fortunate age, the explanatory tantra of the root tantra appeared, as well as the works composed by those who have not realized it...
