Not a woman, not a man, not a hermaphrodite. Secret Lord, that mind is not the nature of the desire realm, not the nature of the form realm, not the nature of the formless realm, and so on. In order to show the separation from yoga, it is said by cessation: What is grasped is said to be the grasper. Thus it is said. That is to say, first, without the union of the vajra and the lotus, one cannot manifest the three kinds of knowledge. As it is said in the great yoga tantra, the Wisdom Vajra Samuccaya: Without the equal union of the vajra and the lotus, which are previously assembled by mantras and mudras, one cannot closely examine the three kinds of knowledge. Therefore, from the union of the vajra and the lotus, from the seventy-two thousand subtle channels, the mind of enlightenment is moved by the wind, and when all the channels are gathered and reach the root channel of the vajra, the wisdom of appearance arises. When it reaches the genitals of the vajra, the wisdom of increasing appearance arises. When the mind of enlightenment reaches the tip of the vajra, the wisdom of obtaining appearance arises, and whatever arises, one should make it manifest. Moreover, in the immediately preceding tantra, from the attachment of the union of the vajra and the lotus, one should know that there is attachment, intermediate attachment, and the wisdom of detachment. Therefore, it is said that there are three kinds of knowledge. Whatever mind arises, putting it all into the bliss of clear light is called cessation. Because the mind is to be taken in that bliss, it is the grasped. That bliss holds the mind, and that itself is called the grasped and the grasper. Moreover, it is said in the Supreme Intention: Just as clouds are of various kinds, with different colors and shapes, arising in the realm of space, they disappear there. Similarly, all natures, which are the cause of the three appearances, completely enter the objects and then enter the clear light. Thus it is said. In this way, if one knows the method of obtaining the bliss of the mind beforehand, one will quickly be liberated from samsara. Moreover, it is said in that same tantra: From the union of the vajra and the lotus, in the manner of the appearance of nature, whoever...

Afflictions are what arise. If one knows that, one is wise. One will be liberated from the prison of existence. Thus it is said. In the manner of the Three Baskets: It goes to one place and flows far away. It dwells in the cave of the bodiless faculties. One who tames the mind that is difficult to tame. Will be liberated from the bonds of the demon. Thus it is said. Also, in the Sutra of the Crowned One: Those who wish to untie the knots of affliction should untie them from within. Thus it is said. This is the explanation of the distinction of mind, which is the fourth limb. Fifth Limb: Explanation of the Samadhi of the Two Truths and Union. Explanation of the Conventional Truth. To show the conventional truth: "Distinct appearances arise from that." Thus it is said. The happiness of the conventional is the transformation into the body of a deity through the empowerment of oneself by the mantra. That also arises from knowing one's own mind exactly as it is. Thus, the inner luminosity, ignorance, arises riding on the wind. It arises from the mind that arises from ignorance, and the appearance of the mind is inseparable from the wind, appearing only as wisdom. From the rays of light with five colors, one should contemplate the arising of the illusory body of a deity. That is also called the mind-body. Therefore, in the Tantra of the Condensed Essence of the Transcendent One, it is said: "Son of the lineage, remain in equanimity and individually realize your own mind." Thus it is said. Also, in the Sutra of the Gate of Contemplation: "Achieving through external signs cannot be attained even in countless eons. If one knows the nature of the feeling of the inner mind, one will attain unsurpassed enlightenment in an instant." Thus it is said. Also, in the Sutra of the Treasury of Enlightenment: "The mind, in an instant, possessing wisdom, will attain unsurpassed enlightenment." Thus it is said. Thus, transforming oneself into the body of Vajrasattva through the empowerment of oneself by the mantra is like the reflection of a painted image on a wall appearing in a mirror. Because the eighty excellent marks and signs that do not satisfy by looking at the body are individually clear, and the color of the body appears like a rainbow, it is called distinct appearances. That also, in the Tantra of the Collected Wisdom Vajra, it is said: "The great yoga of mind and what arises from mind is the samadhi of great bliss."
