Thus, by extracting from the right nostril of conventionality and so forth in sequence, and because the actions of pacification and so on are spontaneously accomplished, one performs the Vajra recitation, which purifies all the obscurations of previous actions. Moreover, these three syllables themselves, during the stage of generation, generate the body of the mantra. In ordinary times, they maintain the body through the sequence of entering, abiding, and rising. At the time of the union of the two organs, looking downwards, from the secret nostril, the seed syllable appears in the form of a dwelling place, and it generates all sentient beings. At the time of the initial action, one contemplates the form of the syllables and performs the verbal recitation, relying on external colors and so forth, to accomplish actions such as pacification. When a yogi eats food, by purifying, realizing, and blazing, it becomes nectar. These are also from the Great Yoga Tantra, the Vajra Garland: The nature of the five Buddhas abides. From the nostril's hole it arises. The five winds also move above. They constantly join with the body. From the conventional nose, it definitely arises. Left and right, and also both. Laboriously moving, there are four kinds. It is said to be the inner time. From the right side, the element arises. It is the mandala of fire itself. This supreme red color, The Lord of the Lotus moves. From the left side, the element arises. The mandala of wind, the one that arises. Appearing as greenish-yellow, The Lord of Action moves. From both, the element arises. Appearing as golden in color, It is the mandala of great power. The Lord of Jewels moves. The element that is slow and without movement, Purity appearing like crystal, It is the mandala of water itself, The Lord of Vajra moves. The wind that abides in all bodies, This is the wheel of all elements that arises, It is the body of the Great Illuminating One, At the time of death, it is the main one. The hidden place, the heart, and the navel, In the secret lotus, they show coming and going. In the time of half a session, They show abiding in order as it is. These four mandalas, By placing them equally in oneself, The combination of reciting the four mantras, Constantly recite day and night. Thus it was said. The number of mantra recitations is day and night.

Recite twenty-one thousand six hundred times for one. Among them, twenty-four half-sessions. Twelve great sessions. Six staff strikes. Moreover, according to the Great Yoga Tantra's intention-revealing prophecy, reciting white garments and the like, two hundred and twenty-five, the fourth is well increased, four combined make nine hundred. What is shown in the nine hundred, in the order of twenty-four, that is what arises separately, twenty-one thousand six hundred. Thus it is said. The reality of all mantras, such as emanations arising from Āli and Kāli, is the three syllables Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), because all mantras gather into those three syllables in the form of female, male, and neuter. Moreover, according to the Glorious Guhyasamāja, the essence of all secret mantras of body, speech, and mind of all Tathāgatas, called "that which stimulates," this supremely secret body, speech, and mind vajra, without speaking with fixed words, speaks such abbreviated mantras. It is said, "Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽)." To show separation from yoga, one speaks of self-mantra and so forth. The self-mantra is Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Thinking in the heart is that the three syllables Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) dissolve into the three places of entering, abiding, and rising. Meditating that those three also dissolve into the wind called the life of the heart is the self-mantra thought in the heart. Then, since the wind called life should also be meditated as dissolving into the indestructible bindu, one should say, "Life becomes bindu." Thus it is said. Explanation of the separation of speech, this is the third limb. Fourth limb. Explanation of the separation of mind. There are three aspects to the separation of mind: the fault of not understanding the separation of mind, separation from the ordinary, and separation from yoga. To show the fault of not understanding the separation of mind, one speaks of self-power. Self is the object of forms and so forth appearing as graspable. The first is the consciousness of the eye and so forth, because the name of the basis is applied to the basis. That is what appears as grasping. The nature of what appears as graspable and grasping is empty and separate, but because one does not understand this, the graspable and grasping are
