And time. The nature and the object of focus, the companion, the place and the preliminary, the support and the opposing antidote, the difference between the ground and abandonment, the nature, accomplishment, conduct, boundary and the amount of habituation, the ultimate amount and recognition, the difference and the fruit. Among these, what is called the essence? If you say you don't know it, then, the samadhi with arising and entering as its object, where is it considered the first essence? It means that this samadhi with arising, entering and abiding as its object is considered its essence. Others such as wisdom, and the single bindu and luminosity, etc., are revealed here implicitly. How many distinctions are there? There are three in terms of upper, lower and middle. For example, focusing on the upper is the upper vajra recitation. Focusing on the lower is the lower vajra recitation. Focusing on the heart is the middle vajra recitation. So, what is the upper vajra recitation? The first one has already been explained. Explaining in terms of the lower: The power of the breath and the transformation of the senses, this should be understood as two. It means that by what one trains in the breath, and likewise trains in the eyes and other senses, this is the second. How many senses are there? In the activity of the eyes and so on, there are no letters or bindus. It means training in the eye sense, ear sense, nose sense, tongue sense, body sense, and so on. In each of these, one also trains in the body, hand gestures, bindus, and letters, etc. So, what is its support? It is to rely on the white or other color that resides on the eyes and so on, and the lotus veins with the appearance of open lotuses. Relying on the appearance of open lotuses, after relying, contemplate its form. This is what the scripture shows. Why is the movement of its senses blocked? Because whatever eyes and so on, do not flow out of the eyes towards the forms of objects, therefore it is called that. It means that in order to prevent attachment to the appearance of objects from the eyes to the body, therefore it is called that. So, how is it done? By focusing on it, it arises, enters and abides.

Thus, focusing on the five senses with bindus and the like, one should fix the mind on them and learn about arising, entering, and the two abidings. What are the two abidings? Abiding in the aspects of arising and entering. The root and the tip, these two. It is said that whatever relies on the aspect of arising, that itself abides at the tip. First, focusing on the seed of the root, by the power of the breath arising from it, it is absorbed into the tip in the form of a thread, garland, or light, and the arising ceases. As long as one focuses on that very appearance, it is abiding relying on the aspect of arising. From that, in whatever form it gathers and appears in its own place, it is abiding relying on the place of entering. The eye, ear, and tongue, and finally the crown of the body, etc., whichever sense gate is open, the veins have the color of faith. At the tip, vajra, jewel, lotus, sword, swastika, or wheel, each corresponding to its own kind, or Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) and Svāhā (藏文:སྭཱ་ཧཱ་,梵文天城体:स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:svāhā,汉语字面意思:梭哈) Haṃ (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:హం), are well established at the tip. Or again, with a garland of bindus. This is a summarizing verse. Furthermore, what is meant by stopping the movement of breath? Wherever the ear's hole is, the breaths greatly move and change, it is said so because of focusing on that. It is said that whoever focuses on the tip of the nose, gathering all the winds from the position of the body, and holding them at the tip of the nose, this is the stopping of breath. Then how should the breath be focused on? On forms such as white, with letters, or just focusing on it as an illusion. It is said that whoever, from the heart and so on, focuses on the five-colored rays, the three colors, and the one color and the inconceivable, etc., whichever abides, the first is with a garland of letters. The outer is focusing on the light without a garland. Then, focusing on the light as just an illusion. How should one recite what is called having a garland? Arising is the garland of Kāli, entering is the garland of Āli. Whatever is arising and entering, Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) blaze at the tip. It is said that whoever, at the time of breath arising, makes the garland of Kāli move on the breath with five colors, and at its tip visualizes Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), or at the time of weariness,
