因此才这样说。什么是叫做秘密灌顶呢？外和内和混合，秘密的灌顶要知道有三种。所谓外秘密灌顶，就是将秘密的菩提心安放在海螺之中。内秘密就是如雌蜂或雄蜂般的交合，接受菩提心。混合的秘密，就是取二无分别交合处之下的部分。谁以口的正对面，二者交合的加持力，由月亮太阳混合，在口的孔穴中产生。这是中间的偈颂。这的异名又是什么呢？秘密和隐藏，不共与不示，此交合就是异名。因为不示于一切，并且是诸佛所隐藏，与会众等不共，以及不示于彼等，因此要知道这些是异名。秘密灌顶又与什么法相应呢？菩提心和三摩地，以及尝味等，清净罪恶，此是秘密灌顶。所谓秘密灌顶，首先是菩提心，白色红色，并且也是三摩地，弟子的舌头尝味，以及清净语之罪恶，与这些相应就称为秘密灌顶。这做什么呢？谁对其他太执着，这能消除。这指的是谁，对什么太执着。如果一个就能转变吗？清净语之罪恶，念诵也能转变，所以是菩提心。此外，如果不说菩提心之外的其他，寻常的菩提心也能转变，为了消除它，所以是三摩地。其他的也各自相应地结合。这个秘密的阿阇黎又是谁呢？谁知道降和遮止，以及明妃具功德者赐予。这里加上阿阇黎。谁知道降菩提心和遮止，并且擅长明妃觉受的交合，明妃也具有功德，这些也因为赐予果实安乐，所以是阿阇黎。

Therefore, it is said that way. What is called the secret empowerment? Outer, inner, and mixed, the secret empowerment should be known as three. The so-called outer secret empowerment is placing the secret bodhicitta inside a conch shell. The inner secret is the union like a female bee or a male bee, receiving the bodhicitta. The mixed secret is taking the part below the point of union of non-duality. Whoever directly faces the mouth, through the blessing of the union of the two, from the mixture of the moon and sun, arises in the orifice of the mouth. This is an intermediate verse. What are its synonyms? Secret and hidden, uncommon and unshown, this union is a synonym. Because it is not shown to all, and it is hidden by all the Buddhas, uncommon with assemblies and so forth, and not shown to them, therefore know that these are synonyms. What dharma does the secret empowerment accord with? Bodhicitta and samadhi, as well as tasting, purify sins, this is considered the secret empowerment. The so-called secret empowerment, first of all, is bodhicitta, white and red, and it is also samadhi, the disciple's tongue tasting, and purifying the sins of speech, it is said that the secret empowerment accords with these. What does this do? Whoever is too attached to others, this can eliminate. This refers to who is too attached to what. If one can transform, then? Purifying the sins of speech, recitation can also transform, so it is bodhicitta. Furthermore, if nothing other than bodhicitta is mentioned, ordinary bodhicitta can also transform, so to eliminate it, it is samadhi. Combine the others accordingly as well. Who is the acharya of this secret? Whoever knows how to descend and restrain, and the vidya who possesses qualities bestows. Add acharya here. Whoever knows how to descend and restrain bodhicitta, and is skilled in the union of the vidya's experience, the vidya also possesses qualities, these are also acharyas because they bestow the fruit of bliss.

那么，这位导师会给什么样的弟子灌顶呢？“瓶灌圆满少分别，于密具信不与他。”意思是首先从导师处好好学习，获得瓶灌，对物质等分别念少，能够实际运用，对秘密之义不惧不喜，极其具信，此外还要声音悦耳，说真实语，懂分寸，身语谨慎。那么，灌顶的因是什么呢？“由二合和所生起，智慧禅定唯此尔。”意思是秘密灌顶的因，就是导师和明妃的智慧与禅定，这些对灌顶有益，没有这些就不会产生，因此才这样说。那么，这在什么时间灌顶呢？“导师二具赐予时，资具圆满具足时。”意思是秘密灌顶的时间，首先是找到殊胜的导师，以及具功德的明妃，并且，由他们赐予许可，精液和血增长流淌，自己本身的功德和资具、形貌等圆满具足的时候。那么，什么是所谓的秘密灌顶的开端呢？“何时根本续部中，甘露嬉戏令昏厥。”意思是根本续部《秘密集续》中，在瑜伽大续的坛城中，如来们以实际享用五甘露的力量，让处于轮回中的菩萨和声闻这些远离贪欲者，以极其恐惧的力量而昏厥、迷乱和昏倒，不动菩萨大菩萨将他们唤醒，并为他们开示意义，这就是菩萨的秘密灌顶的开端。那么，秘密灌顶的物质是什么呢？“物质白红具十五，何处行持此合和。”意思是菩提心白分和红分，以及除此之外的大粪、小便、大肉、石蜜等这些是物质，依靠这些能使语的分别念止息。那么，又在什么地方灌顶呢？地方是在弟子的三舌上，以粗大的灌顶手印接取。

Then, what kind of disciple would this master initiate? "The vase initiation is complete with few discriminations, having faith in the secret, not with others." It means that first, one should study well from the master, obtain the vase initiation, have few discriminations about materials, etc., be able to use them practically, not be afraid or happy about the meaning of the secret, and have extreme faith. In addition, one should have a pleasant voice, speak truthfully, understand propriety, and be careful in body and speech. So, what is the cause of the initiation? "Born from the union of two, wisdom and samadhi are only this." It means that the cause of the secret initiation is the wisdom and samadhi of the master and the consort, which are beneficial for the initiation. Without these, it will not arise, so it is said. So, when is this initiated? "When the two masters are present and give permission, when the resources are complete and abundant." It means that the time of the secret initiation is first when a special master and a consort with qualities are found, and when they give permission, semen and blood increase and flow, and one's own qualities, resources, and appearance are complete and abundant. So, what is the beginning of the so-called secret initiation? "When in the root tantras, the play of nectar causes fainting." It means that in the root tantra, the Guhyasamaja Tantra, in the mandala of the great yoga tantra, the Tathagatas, with the power of actually enjoying the five nectars, cause the bodhisattvas and shravakas who are in samsara and are free from desire, to faint, be confused, and fall down with extreme fear. The immovable bodhisattva mahasattva awakens them and explains the meaning to them. This is the beginning of the secret initiation of the bodhisattva. So, what is the substance of the secret initiation? "The substance is white and red with fifteen, where this union is practiced." It means that the white and red bodhicitta, as well as feces, urine, great meat, rock honey, etc., are the substances. Relying on these can stop the discriminations of speech. So, where is the initiation given? The place is on the three tongues of the disciple, taking with a large initiation mudra.
