Ḍaḥ. Furthermore, whoever places the fingers of the right hand upon the left, whoever unites with a third party, this is the supreme method, not another. These verses are intermediate. How should one meditate at this time? By kindling the fire with the power of movement, one attracts the seed of great bliss. This means that whoever becomes inseparable from the consort, with hands above and below in the dharma of desire, and by the power of kindling the fire from the navel, descends the bodhicitta from the place of great bliss, and the four joys arise in succession, this is the act of union, and this is necessary. So what is the power? The power is to wash away the defilements of the mind and purify sins. This means that the power of wisdom and knowledge also washes away the defilements of the mind. Furthermore, manifesting and facing the earth, uniting with the sins below, abiding above and above, this is said to be power. These verses are intermediate. So what instructions should be given? The union of the wheel and the messengers, the wise should teach what is appropriate to them. This means that one should examine who is a vessel for the wheel and so on, and then give them the instructions that are appropriate to them. For example, the wheel, one, two, ten, up to sixteen, relying on various kinds of female messengers, experiencing the bliss of bodhicitta, one should teach such instructions. So, with what gathering is this related? Through this, relying on the profound gatherings, wisdom is born. This means that the profound gathering relies on the consort, and through this, one should rely on the instructions of the gathering that produces joy and so on as they are. So, with what siddhi is it related? The third is the achievement of the supreme, whoever does it with this. This means that it is related to the empowerment and instructions of wisdom and knowledge, and this is the achievement of the supreme fruit, the achievement of the unsurpassed. So, with what yoga is this related? Whoever constantly abides in this, this is the yoga of near perfection. This means that whoever is close to the completion stage, this is the yoga of the completion stage. So, with what tantra is this related? With this

Rely on all the tantras that reveal the profound meaning. If someone wishes to attain this by abiding in it, they should rely on and abide in the tantras that clearly show this. A practitioner who abides in this should rely on, listen to, and explain the tantras that reveal the profound meaning of skillful means and wisdom, etc. This is an intermediate verse. Having extensively explained the wisdom-jnana empowerment in this way. Explanation of the Fourth Empowerment. Now, the fourth will be explained. What is the essence of the fourth? The essence of the fourth is non-conceptual jnana. That is, the essence of the fourth empowerment is non-conceptual jnana, which is the result of the wisdom-jnana empowerment. How many divisions does it have? The fourth empowerment is known to be twofold: with support and without support. That is, the jnana that arises when the consort is not separated is the fourth with support. The fourth without support is the jnana that arises from the instructions after relying on the consort. Thus, there are only these two. Why is it called the fourth? Because it is other than the third, it is called the fourth empowerment. The fourth, the ultimate, the supreme, and the unsurpassed are synonyms. That is, the very transcendence of the third, and the fact that it is special, and that it is unsurpassed, these are its different names. Then, with what qualities does it possess? The one that possesses all the qualities of the Buddhas, this is the general quality. The specific quality is that it is called that because it possesses clarity, bliss, and non-conceptuality. What is meant by "eliminating others"? All the dharmas that arise from conceptualization of objects are eliminated by this. That is, clarity and so on eliminate what is not clear, suffering, and conceptualization. What is its basis? The one that arises from the invisible time in the secret letters, and the one that proclaims the letters to be without self-nature, this is the basis of the fourth. That is, whoever dwells in its retinue has no chance to see the self-arisen letters. After saying this,

The sixth lineage Vajradhara awakens from a swoon, revealing that all letters are of the nature of solitude, emptiness, peace, abundance, and so on, which is the beginning. What is the place? "Non-thought, non-discrimination, unconditioned accumulation, all victors rely on, therefore it is the place." This means that all dharmas are naturally pure, and what is relied upon, therefore it should be known as the place. What is the time? "No taking, no abandoning time, is the best of times, no before, no after, originally arises." This means that all dharmas are free from one and many, naturally pure, and what is realized, that is, not observing the past time, not observing the future and present time, the three times are not taken, not abandoned, not both, this is the true time. Who gives happiness, is the supreme teacher. This means that who gives happiness, this is the teacher, like Nagarjuna. Also, with non-discriminating wisdom, eliminating coarse and subtle discriminations, thereby obtaining happiness, so it is called. Why observe the disciple? "Becoming the son of all hearts, is the disciple to be tamed." This means that whoever has immaculate wisdom, he is the son of all Tathagatas, like Vajra Dharma. What is the cause of this? "Samadhi wisdom has differences, for the cause of generating non-thinking wisdom." This means that it has been said before. What is the mandala? "For the sake of taking the essence, having wisdom as the cause is the mandala." This means that the essence is the body and wisdom of the Buddha, and it is taken by this, so it is called. Who is before the former, entering this union? This means that whoever understands the wisdom that is free from all discriminations, he is the one who enters the mandala. With whose profound oral instructions, listening and thinking, and the order of practice, one can also enter the supreme mandala. This is the intermediate verse. What is the preliminary of this? The three empowerments and oral instructions together, and learning is the preliminary. This means the vase and the secret.
