This indicates that by correctly understanding bliss, first the sole wisdom of the mirage-like appearance should be generated, and then the ultimate result of the sequence of the three appearances of wisdom should be generated. These four wisdoms are not of the nature associated with habitual tendencies, and the guru showed them in the four instants. Whichever is the instant of clear light, that instant causes the student to attain the enlightenment of the Buddha, that is, the Buddha himself. If it is asked how the Buddha himself has become, then the very nature of inner bliss is sharp, having the characteristic of praising all things. It is free from turbidity, that is, free from afflictions, therefore, these are also referred to as the nature of unborn. Similarly, it is also stated in the Compendium of Conduct: First, one sees the mirage-like appearance, which has a collection of five rays of light. The second is appearance, like the rays of the moon. The third is non-appearance, like the rays of the sun. The fourth is near attainment of appearance, like the form of darkness. Then, in the instant of being free from darkness, the clear light is extremely clear, being of the nature of perpetual appearance. The characteristic of ultimate truth is seen with the eye of wisdom. Now, what is said is the separate demonstration of the self-nature of clear light. What is said is "beginningless arising" and so forth. By saying "the nature of these dharmas abides in the nature of dharma," it is said to be beginningless arising. It arises last from the sequence of clear light. In the sequence of union, there will be a non-central arising. Self-blessing is, first, the sequence of union is, through these last ones, the clear light necessarily abides in the center, therefore it is said to arise in the center. The sequence of union itself is the nature of all Buddhas, therefore it is endless arising. By eliminating the thoughts of the three wisdom appearances, it arises ultimately, that is, clear light should be referred to as the characteristic of the four empowerments. Here, for the verses, or for that kind of also. These three sounds are for these three meanings, again through meaning entering into the supreme direction, are those that cause to enter. The wisdom that has thus transformed, is skilled in all being empty.

They always say that. This very wisdom itself speaks of the nature, and for things like "going" and "light," etc., in the nature of what is originally unborn, the terms "going" and "coming," etc., do not arise. It is a very wondrous form, because it is the very nature of the Dharmakaya. Because it is said, "What is not wondrous is attachment to various things." "Not abiding" is also because it abides in one. "Not swiftly going" is also because it pervades all, as explained before. For things like "What exists," etc., whichever wisdom is without discrimination, the names of existence and non-existence are liberated, completely abandoned. Although it is so, if asked how there can be existence and non-existence in it, then those who produce should express it here in conventional truth. For the words "Merit is not form," the yogi should understand it to be explained similarly. What appears here is because it is free from merit and demerit. What is that? It is that all is empty. That is the wisdom of the nature of Suchness, which possesses all kinds of excellence. The Buddhas, that is, the Buddhas who have truly realized, proclaim that all this is emptiness. It is also said in the scriptures: Those who have Suchness see it by following the meaning of the Middle Way. For those who understand Suchness, it is directly perceived, if they truly understand it. As long as everything is universally fabricated, then everything does not exist. In the absence of fabrication in the Middle Way, from where can there be refutation and establishment? For things like "Thus," etc., having obtained the nature of such unbornness, that is, having obtained it, it becomes the nature of cause and non-cause, that is, it becomes the nature of all stable and moving things, because it becomes one taste in Suchness. The one friend who goes is the nature of impartial great compassion. Whose yogi is the lion of men, the nature of wisdom? To wander completely is to roam. All beings are all. That is imperishable, that is, to obtain an imperishable body.
