A Summary of the Meaning of the Five Stages, Called "Delighting the Mind of the Yogi" By Thubpa Palsangpo A Summary of the Meaning of the Five Stages, Called "Delighting the Mind of the Yogi" By Thubpa Palsangpo A Brief Explanation of the Meaning of the Summarized Stages In Sanskrit: Pañcakramasyaarthayogimanoharaatippaṇī nāma. In Tibetan: A Summary of the Meaning of the Five Stages, Called "Delighting the Mind of the Yogi." HOMAGE TO GLORIOUS VAJRASATTVA! To the one who has attained the first ground, I bow to the noble Nāgārjuna. I shall briefly explain the meaning of Delighting the mind of the yogi in stages. Examining the noble scriptures, That measure is done with a bre. This measure of my treatise, May people always hold in their hearts. Here, also, taking all the verses that are confusedly arranged in the tantras such as the Glorious Guhyasamāja, and then, through the compassionate other-power of the Glorious and Noble Nāgārjuna's feet, looking at the dull world, he spoke, realizing the order of the five stages in thirty-two verses. Those who wish to make a summary of the stages, with homage as the preliminary, wishing to show the nature of the fruit to be shown, therefore speak of "liberation from the conduct of the three realms," and so forth. The true collection of all words and all worlds is the third world. The three worlds are the three worlds, with "shu" added to their own meaning. That is, the three realms of desire, form, and formlessness. Here, whatever sentient beings' continuums are, in their five aggregates and so forth, clinging to the very nature of things that are firm and stable, that is conceptual thought, that is the term for universal conduct. Liberation from that is the meaning of separation. Is that the nature of pure knowledge? Because it is pure, the time is spoken of. Having become equal to space, that which has become equal to space is that wisdom. Although this is so, all objects of focus are abandoned, because there is no bondage. In order to dispel those who have fallen into the precipice of the view of clinging to emptiness, emptiness is not other than things,

It is not merely existence, and because it is free from being very ordinary, the self-nature of all the meanings of words such as form is the nature of all things. Pure because it is free from the obscurations of affliction and the obscurations of knowledge, or in order to take care of sentient beings, these appear from the pure Dharmakaya, so it is said. Peaceful because it is the characteristic of the pacification of all suffering, or because it has a peaceful experience. Extremely solitary because it is free from the conceptualizations of existence and nirvana. This supreme peace is the nature of being constantly stable, and therefore it is possible to obtain auspiciousness. The very nature of unborn, the yogi should realize in his mind, is the manifestation body. Therefore, it is not to be realized by the Shravakas and others. Difficult to understand because it is extremely profound, because its nature is the sole bliss of suchness. Because even suffering is difficult to describe and separately show, it is difficult to contemplate after knowing it. Because it is able to perfectly accomplish the infinite benefit of oneself and others, it is of great benefit to both self and others. This also covers the obvious expression of one's own perfect benefit. Because in all the continuums of those to be subdued, it appears separately in this way. Whatever has disappeared and completely abandoned all characteristics such as heat, that is without characteristics. Or, because by entering spontaneously, the manifestation body that stabilizes the mind with other causes in an instant universally manifests, it is without characteristics. Prostration is reverence. Body is the body. What are they? They are the Buddhas, in order to clearly indicate the majority, so it is prostration to the bodies of the five Tathagatas. To whom do we prostrate? To the bliss spoken of in the continuum in a gathering way, because it has four emptinesses. The incomparable equality is: all emptiness is incomparable, equality is its nature. Or, incomparable is
