Because this holding is not obtained, I do not say that Bodhisattva has obtained supernatural powers. Because this courageous going samadhi is not obtained, I do not say that Bodhisattva has practiced. Because this courageous going samadhi is not obtained, I do not say that Bodhisattva has generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom, and skillful means. Because this courageous going samadhi is not obtained, I do not say that Bodhisattva has much learning. Because this courageous going samadhi is not obtained, I do not say that Bodhisattva has fearlessness. Sons of the lineage, therefore, in order for the Bodhisattva to want to emerge in all paths of emergence, in order to have no pride, one should study this courageous going samadhi. Thus it was said. The eighth chapter is the cutting off of doubts, which summarizes the realm of non-abiding nirvana. The ninth chapter: Cutting off doubts by summarizing the conduct of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the manifestation of the arising of Dharma, and the proliferation of complete enlightenment. The Vajra student asked: How should a yogi who wishes to study the perfection of omniscience, after the Lama has granted permission to completely cut off reality in stages with the nature of hearing and thinking, with the result, abide in the causal state? How should he meditate? How should he practice the conduct of vows? Please, Bhagavan Vajra Acharya, the teacher, prophesy. The Vajra Acharya said: Great being, well done, well done! Those who have obtained the special cause and whose diligence is blazing, and those who have no regard for body and life, having completely turned away from clinging to their own form in this very life, those who wish to perfect the fruit of the eight powers of virtue, well done, well done for asking in order to eliminate their doubts! For those who wish to be liberated by completely eliminating the clinging to reality, you

Please listen carefully as I explain in order. Because the two truths are non-dual in this, cause and effect are also non-dual. Because cause and effect are non-dual, what is attained and what is to be attained are also non-dual. Because what is attained and what is to be attained are non-dual, meditation and what is to be meditated upon are also non-dual. In non-duality, the practitioner, the practice, and what is to be practiced do not become objects. Because it does not become an object, what should one meditate upon, or who would practice conduct? If one analyzes and learns in this way, there is no difference between learning and completion. As it is said in the scriptures: 'In the Dharma that is seen, there is nirvana. What is done is also that.' Therefore, it is said. However, when a temporary distinction is obtained, cause and effect also appear in the world. Otherwise, one would fall into the fault of having no cause. Therefore, in the state of learning, one should not doubt whether the practitioner, the practice, and what is to be practiced, as well as the agent, the action, and what is to be acted upon, exist or not. Here, the practitioner is the realization of the conventional truth. The practice is the ultimate truth. What is to be practiced is non-dual wisdom. Therefore, fully understanding the non-duality of cause and effect is said to be meditation itself here. As it is said in the All Secret Tantra: 'The effect increases the cause, and the cause also increases the effect. Other than meditation, accomplishment will not occur even in billions of kalpas.' Therefore, it is said. Explaining the complete purity of conduct: Having realized non-dual wisdom, in the state of being in equipoise and not being in equipoise, one becomes non-dual. If it is non-dual, who would practice conduct? Just as the agent disappears, actions also disappear, which is certain in the world. Furthermore, without asceticism, one cannot exhaust the habitual tendencies of beginningless afflictions. This is said in the scriptures and is well-known in the world. As it is said in the Guhyasamaja Tantra: Vajrasattva...
