Do you experience places? Answer: Blessed One, I have experienced them. The Blessed One said: Bhikshu, do you not know that the mind experiences desire? Answer: Blessed One, it is so. The Blessed One said: Bhikshu, do you see any difference or distinction between the mind in a dream and the mind that is not asleep? Answer: Blessed One, I have not seen any difference whatsoever between the mind in a dream and the mind that is not asleep. The Blessed One said: Bhikshu, what do you think? Has it not been shown that all dharmas are like a dream? Answer: Blessed One, it is so. After saying this, in order to clarify this very meaning, in the Great Yoga Tantra called "Guhyasamaja," it is also said: O Blessed One, all the Tathagatas are like this. For example, the Bodhicitta is like the Vajra place that causes the wisdom of all the Tathagatas to arise. That Bodhicitta does not abide in the body, does not abide in speech, and does not abide in the mind. Whatever dharma does not abide in the three realms, it also has no birth. This is the Vajra place where wisdom arises. O Blessed One, all the Tathagatas do not think of this dream, "I shall see a dream in the three realms." People also do not think, "I shall see a dream." Those activities of the three realms are also like a dream, similar to a dream, arising from a dream. Similarly, Blessed One, all the Tathagatas, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the ten directions of the world, and all sentient beings, should be recognized as being in the state of non-self, like a dream. After saying this, in order to clarify this Samadhi which is like an illusion, in the Great Yoga Tantra called "Jnana Vajra Samuccaya," it is also said: The Great Yoga arising from the mind and mental factors is the Samadhi of Great Bliss. This is closely illustrated by the example of illusion. Therefore, the Tathagata

All places are like illusions, like the moon in water, like optical illusions, like mirages, like dreams, like echoes in valleys, like cities of Gandharvas, like magic, like rainbows, like lightning, like water bubbles, like reflections in mirrors. The twelve similes of illusion can approximately represent the Samadhi of great bliss. Thus, all the Tathagatas abiding in the ten directions of the world, for as long as samsara exists, abide in the Samadhi of illusion and play with the five desirable qualities, rejoicing and thus fully enjoying them. Because they possess the qualities of omniscience, they can go from Buddha-field to Buddha-field merely by their own will. Thus, remembering the suffering of samsara in the three times, desiring liberation, one should strive to please the Vajra Master, thereby obtaining the oral instructions of the stages of blessing me. After that, one should seek the method of complete purification. The sixth chapter is the summary of the conventional truth, cutting off doubts. Chapter Seven: Cutting off Doubts by Summarizing the Truth of the Complete Purification of the Two Yogas. The Vajra disciple reported: Since there is no doubt about the conventional truth, now, from the kindness of the Guru, I would like to understand the part of the ultimate truth, the place where the appearance is completely pure. The Vajra Master said: The so-called conventional truth is the completion of the body of Vajrasattva through the stages of blessing me, which can be very well shown by the twelve similes of illusion. But the ultimate truth is without body, without example, free from all creation, and known by each individual. Therefore, without the oral instruction of the Guru, it cannot be understood. As the words that were spoken, like a lamp inside a vase, it will not appear outside. If that vase is broken, then the light of the lamp will appear. Similarly, the vase is one's own body, and that itself is like a lamp. If it is skillfully broken by the Guru's mouth, the wisdom of the Buddha will appear clearly. From the sky arises the sky, and the sky can see the sky, that itself is the Guru.
