Because of being endowed (ལྡན་པ་, dān pa), it is called the Fortunate Aeon (བསྐལ་པ་བཟང་པོ, bskal pa bzang po'o). The name Complete Buddha (རྫོགས་སངས་རྒྱས, rdzogs sangs rgyas) refers to the past such as Vipashyin (རྣམ་པར་གཟིགས, rnam par gzigs), because he is completely perfect and truly realizes all dharmas. The name Manifest Faith in the Vajra Vehicle (རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཐེག་པ་ལ་མངོན་པར་དད་པ, rdo rje'i theg pa la mngon par dad pa) means faith in the Mantra Vehicle. The name Bodhisattva (བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ, byang chub sems dpa') refers to Vipashyin and others, who are the Bhagavan Great Vajradhara (བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་ཆེན་པོ, bcom ldan 'das rdo rje 'chang chen po). The Bodhisattvas actually dwell among the retinue, because they abide in the nature of being students. The name Great Being (སེམས་དཔའ་ཆེ, sems dpa' che) means that they contemplate the benefit of all sentient beings. The name These (འདི་རྣམས, 'di rnams) means to show manifestly. The name Prostrating and Abiding with the Body (ལུས་ཀྱིས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་འཁོད, lus kyis phyag 'tshal 'khod) means bowing the body with respect to the teacher. The body bows to whom, that is the bowing of the body. The name In the Time of the Five Degenerations (སྙིགས་མ་ལྔའི་དུས་སུ, snyigs ma lnga'i dus su) refers to the characteristics of the five degenerations of lifespan, views, afflictions, aeon, and sentient beings, also called the time of strife. Now Truly Entering (ད་ལྟར་ཡང་དག་འཇུག་པ་ལ, da ltar yang dag 'jug pa la). The name Truly Entering (ཡང་དག་འཇུག་པ་ལ, yang dag 'jug pa la) means entering according to the karma of sentient beings. The name Now (ད་ལྟར, da ltar) means the present time. Why does he abide in the time of the five degenerations? Therefore, it is said "because of sentient beings (སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས, sems can rnams)". The name sentient beings (སེམས་ཅན, sems can) refers to living beings. The name Small Merit (བསོད་ནམས་ཆུང་བ, bsod nams chung ba) means that the roots of virtue are very small. Likewise, Small Effort and Short Lifespan (བརྩོན་འགྲུས་ཆུང་ཞིང་ཚེ་ཐུང་དང, brtson 'grus chung zhing tshe thung dang). Small effort means that the characteristic of being enthusiastic in virtuous deeds is weak. Lifespan refers to those who have a number of years, that is what it is called. Many Evil Views (ལྟེ་བ་ངན་པ་མང་པོ་དང, lte ba ngan pa mang po dang). This refers to the nature of false views of tirthikas and others, characterized by exaggeration and slander, because they fall into wrong views. The name Because of Need (དགོས་ཕྱིར, dgos phyir) means because of that reason. It is connected with "abiding to avert their evil views." The name Supreme State (མཆོག་གི་གོ་འཕང, mchog gi go 'phang) refers to the state of the Great Vajradhara, which is characterized by averting the suffering of samsara. The name Request (ཞུ, zhu) means from the teacher. The name By What (གང་གིས, gang gis) means by the supreme state. The name Quickly (མྱུར་དུ, myur du) means in this very life.
