The three types of breath characterized by entering, abiding, and rising. These are closely represented by the sequence of three letters. Or, how does one recite? To this, one should also add the act of believing in the nature of entering, etc. By this, siddhis are quickly attained. This means that the recitation of mantras, due to its swiftness, through the suchness of wind and the suchness of mantras, transforms into siddhis by the nature of neuter recitation. How does it transform? Therefore, it is said: The suchness of wind goes beyond. This is the teaching of the twelfth chapter, and going beyond means reaching the other shore. Thus, after explaining the concise instruction of the suchness of mantras, in order to elaborate on its extensive explanation, it is said: The Vajra Mudra Meaning Summary. Vajra refers to the nature of recitation without lacking limbs, that is, by Vajra recitation. Mudra is the state of neuter recitation, which is the Vajra Mudra. Its fruition is the state of abiding, which is the state of abiding Vajra Mudra. Tranquility means that the hundred and eight aggregates of self-nature are nearly tranquil. The meaning summary of the Great Mudra refers to the form of self-luminous nature. Meaning refers to the nature of all conceptualizations being nearly tranquil. Summary is the nature of being summarized. The ultimate reality refers to the nature of the suchness of speech. Great wisdom refers to the complete understanding of the sound form of the conceptualizations of speech. Relying on the suchness of mantras refers to the nature that will be explained. The state of no object of reference refers to the nature of ultimate reality because of reversing all dependent conceptualizations. Manifestation refers to the manifestation to the wisdom of the yogi. The cause of Vajrasattva's self-nature refers to the attainment of the Vajrasattva state, which has the nature of emptiness, by relying on the suchness of mantras.

The yogi becomes very clear. Therefore, because of the mind's refuge, it is called mantra. The place of body, speech, and mind is the place of guarding. This refers to abandoning the various conceptualizations of the impure body, etc., and generating the appearance of the pure body, etc., guarding these themselves is the meaning of being called "Great Bliss." The so-called "Thatness" refers to its thing being Thatness, which is non-inverted. The so-called "That-born Excellent Wisdom" refers to the merit that is born from the merit of being adorned with all the qualities of the mantra that was just spoken of, which is excellent. Excellent wisdom is the nature of averting the conceptualizations of the excellent object and the object-possessor. The so-called "Thatness gathers all meanings" refers to all, that is, the meaning of the ultimate union of Suchness of body, etc., is gathered by the characteristic of being speakable, that is, being gathered. Because relying on the Suchness of mantra, the state of union is actually accomplished in sequence. So, where should such a mantra's Suchness be meditated on? Therefore, it is said, "The lotus in the heart is most excellent," that is, in the center of the place where the lotus dwelling in the heart is joined. The so-called "most excellent" is because of the very form of the syllable Hūṃ. The so-called "clear" is because it appears with the nature of clarity to the yogi. The so-called "That wisdom is unsurpassed," wherein, the so-called "wisdom" refers to the yogi. The so-called "Thatness" refers to the nature of being non-inverted. The so-called "unsurpassed" is because by contemplating the syllable Hūṃ as a part, fixing the mind on the bindu, thereby manifesting the nature of the Great Seal, therefore there is nothing higher than that. The so-called "reciting for six months" refers to approximating the time. The so-called "accomplishment" refers to what should be obtained by the Suchness of mantra. The so-called "becoming" refers to what will arise, not something else, the so-called "not something else" refers to the meaning that there is nothing higher than that. The so-called "means and" refers to this very characteristic of the Suchness of mantra. The so-called "excellent" refers to the sacred. The so-called "yoga" refers to the fact that it becomes the basis for the accomplishment of Vajra recitation.
