Having extensively explained through two methods, in order to explain its method, it is said, "Only yoga can attain this state." This refers to the nature of samadhi, and the nature of possessing skillful means and wisdom. The so-called "distinction" refers to the object. The so-called "the nature of distinction is not conceptualization" refers to the nature of the cessation of distinction. Having thus explained its method, in order to explain that artificial cultivation is not needed, it speaks of the nature of its limbs, such as reciting the place of proximity. The so-called recitation of the nature of the vows of the place of proximity refers to reciting vows and so on. The so-called "not a fire offering" means satisfying the fire deity of wisdom in the mouth of the fire of vows. The so-called "not meditation" means contemplating the body of that Bhagavan by practicing the generation stage, or on painted images, etc. The so-called "not action" means through the collection of peaceful and other actions. The so-called "not a rosary" means bones, etc. The so-called "not by the practice of generation" means contemplating the form of the deity through the order of the moon and vajra, etc. To attain the state of great bliss, these outsiders are not needed. Having thus explained the self-nature, in order to show that it can be attained by first obtaining the unsurpassed empowerment, it says, "Slightly with the empowerment of quiescence." This refers to the experience of the third empowerment of the peaceful empowerment beforehand. The so-called "from the mouth of the lama" means from the place that causes the teacher to experience. The so-called "attaining" means obtaining. Through the order of experience and the order of oral instructions, as is the order. The so-called "yogini face all conduct" refers to the yogini's oral instructions arising from fields, etc. Yogini face all conduct, because it is obtained from mouth to mouth. The so-called "supreme wisdom great bliss" refers to unsurpassed wisdom. The so-called "great bliss" refers to the aspect of the complete cessation of all suffering. The Extensive Commentary on the Great Yoga Tantra, the Glorious Vajra Garland, written by Paṇḍita Alaṅkakala, which makes the profound meaning very clear, called Explanation, the extensive explanation of the thirteenth chapter is completed.

Chapter 14: Extensive Explanation of Answering Questions on the Realm of Vajra and Padma Union Thus, after Chapter 13 discussed answering questions on the realm of great bliss, now, wanting to discuss answering questions on the realm of Vajra and Padma union, which is timely, Chapter 14 will elucidate and reveal its composition. That is to say, "Thereafter," etc. This is after explaining Chapter 13. "Furthermore" refers to being related to the previous. "Listen" refers to being connected to the hearing of Vajrapani. "Vajra Padma Union" refers to the nature of the Vajra Padma Union that will be explained, and is related to the word "explain." So, what does it do? Therefore, it is said, "By what." "By what" refers to by what kind of Vajra Padma Union. "Truly" means to do it as it is. "Accomplishment" refers to the co-emergent or the nature of luminosity. "This life" refers to the nature of visible phenomena. "Yogi" refers to the practitioner of Mahamudra. Thus, after revealing its composition, in order to explain the accomplishment of Vajra and Padma union, next, following the Great Yoga Tantra, the Vajra and Padma union is explained, that is to say, "Indestructible Vajra is said," etc. This is the nature of emptiness. Because it can make others unite, and because it is indestructible. "This is known as wind" refers to being widely known in two ways, that is, by distinguishing between ultimate truth and conventional truth. Among them, the ultimate truth is the Vajra of emptiness. Conventional truth is the aspect of the limb of means. "Separated by the letter A" refers to the ultimate truth being the Vajra of the aspect of emptiness. The letter A is the difference of abiding in the wheel of manifestation, with the nature of outer and inner, relying on the means with the nature of equal entering of skillful means and wisdom. By this, the staff is broken. "Realization" refers to its field of activity. "Supreme Yoga" refers to those who practice the completion stage. "Constantly" refers to time.
