Having spoken, in order to proclaim the words of non-retrogression in detail, "non-retrogression" and so on are spoken, because it is free from division. "That itself is complete abandonment of division" is said, referring to the place where the three, such as self and joy, are abandoned, in order to dispel such different kinds of conceptualization. "Its essence" refers to the nature of joy and so on, because it is their pervader. As it is said, "Or everything is self-nature." Or some scriptures say "not its essence," in that respect, it is separate from the limbs such as closeness, and various moments, and the nature of joy and so on. As it is said, "Or everything is completely abandoned." "That itself" refers to the co-emergent aspect itself as the synonym for the three joys. Because there is no other dharma that has changed from it. As it is said, "Apart from the realm of dharma, why is dharma non-existent?" Having thus explained the words of non-retrogression, in order to explain the words of self-awareness in detail, "self-feeling" and so on are spoken. "Self" means not another consciousness. "Feeling" means the inner essence, with happiness and so on as its nature. "To be known" means to be truly contemplated. "The other, another" means abandoning one's own continuum and for others. "Not an object of experience" means because there is no object. "Difficult to indicate" means that without the guru's instructions, it cannot be indicated, because it is impossible. "By that example" means because there is no other similar to it. "In one's own mind" means that in relation to naturally pure, the yogi's consciousness abides in itself. Having abandoned it, because one cannot see one's own nature. "It is said to be self-awareness" means for this reason. "Like the pleasure of a young girl" means that the pleasure of a young girl whose birth place is not damaged, is the pleasure arising from the cause of a man, which is to be known by oneself, is not the object of speech, just as this is, so is this.

It is the meaning of knowing. Having thus extensively explained the words of self-awareness, in order to express the supreme words, "supreme" and so on are spoken. The so-called "clearly experience" is wisdom because it appears clearly. The so-called "that is supreme" is a brief indication. The detailed explanation of that is, "that is abandoned" is spoken, which is the abandonment of the three wisdoms. "Supreme" means that the supreme is discrimination and so on, everything is, and it is also discrimination, which is the nature of the elaboration of being and non-being, things and non-things. Those and so on exist in which, those are all discriminations and so on, and they are also discriminations, which are the subtle forms of discrimination, and are discriminations and so on with the forms of discrimination. Where the nature of abandoning those exists, that is the bright nature of all discriminations and so on. Because it is free from reason and discrimination, it is the self-awareness of the form of non-discrimination, that is the meaning. Having thus explained the supreme words, now in order to declare the detailed explanation of the supreme words, "that is supreme" and so on are spoken. From that non-discriminating experience, it is supreme. The so-called "great bliss" is the nature of great bliss, because it is the ultimate of the constant, co-born, and only one. The so-called "that is the nature of the three as one" is because the nature of the three joys is one. "Because of the suchness of body, speech, and mind". The so-called "saying that by separating from it", the so-called "with it" means separating from the nature of the suchness of the body and so on, which is abandonment. The so-called "saying that" is the wisdom of self-awareness. The so-called "both are completely abandoned" is because all dualistic appearances do not exist. Having thus explained the doctrine that that is supreme, in order to declare the detailed explanation of the emptiness words of universal discrimination, "being and non-being" and so on are spoken. It is the wisdom that is free from the discriminations of those and so on. The so-called "should be meditated" is to complete and connect with the remaining words. Being and non-being are being and non-being. The nature of happiness is the discrimination of suffering, which is both the nature of happiness and the nature of suffering, which is happiness.
