"It is said, 'Definitely meditate,' one should become accustomed to it by ascertaining the nature of the winds. 'True' means reverting from counting by subtraction and addition, with the nature of being non-inverted. 'Discursive winds are to be cut off,' which means that discursive thoughts are the natures born from the power of the winds, and the winds are cut off by means of releasing and holding, and so forth. 'Recitation that follows the meaning,' which means that whatever enters, abides, and arises, the three winds that are of the nature of these, enter day and night in the manner of a bucket pulley, with a number of twenty-one thousand six hundred, following the meaning of those, which is to follow accordingly as much as possible, and to fully understand is recitation, that is, through it. 'Non-existent' means that because it is dependently originated, it is devoid of inherent existence. 'Same essence' means because its essence is the same. 'Habituate emptiness with aspects,' which means to habituate emptiness through this and that door. 'Must be done' means because it abides on the irreversible ground. 'The one who meditates on the teaching' means the one who possesses intense diligence through meditating on the winds. 'Practitioner' means the one who meditates on the sequence of vajra recitation. 'Having meditated' means to habituate it. 'True' means with the nature of being non-inverted. 'Vajra recitation' means the indivisible recitation that is devoid of the characteristics of external recitation. 'Supreme' means because it becomes the cause of one-pointedness of mind. 'Sequence' means in order to learn to enter gradually. Thus, having shown its great nature, now, in order, the order of stating its fruit, 'in sequence' means in order. 'By that' means by the meditation of vajra recitation. 'Fully know' means in the manner of neuter recitation. 'Will be obtained' means to obtain correctly. 'No doubt' means without doubt about the teaching of the Blessed One. The Great Yoga Tantra, the Extensive Commentary on the Glorious Vajra Garland, composed by Paṇḍita Alaṃkakalasha, called 'Making the Profound Meaning Extremely Clear,' the thirty-fifth chapter, extensive [commentary].

Extensive explanation. Chapter Thirty-Six: Extensive Explanation of Answering Questions on the Nature of the Realm of Non-Conceptual Wind. Thus, Chapter Thirty-Five has explained the answers to questions about the realm of discrimination and cutting off the wind. Now, in order to explain the answers to questions about the nature of the realm of formless wind, let us first briefly begin to write it. It is said, "Then," and so on, that is, after explaining Chapter Thirty-Five. Furthermore, "also" is as before. "The non-conceptual wind arises" is related to this. Non-conceptual is that which arises from the abandonment of conceptualization, that very reality. "Supreme" is said because it is the cause of manifesting the supremely self-luminous nature of reality. What does it do? Therefore, it is said, "Therefore, whatever," that is, for the reality of non-discrimination. "Know" means to thoroughly realize through the power of hearing, thinking, and meditating. It is related to "Obtain the state of Vajrasattva." Vajrasattva is the nature of the stage of union, whose own essence is the characteristic of naturally entering. Obtaining means realization. Thus, having shown how to write it, now, in order to speak of the actual explanation, its limb, that is, the arising of the non-conceptual wind, showing its own essence, it is said, "Without realization," which is the essence of the recitation of neither male nor female. "Great wind" is said because it has found its own essence. The second line, "All completely abandoned," is because it is separated from the wind of discrimination. "The self of the nature of all things" is said because it pervades discrimination and wind. "Free from the state of meditation and non-meditation" is said because it has abandoned sitting, dwelling, and rising. "Great wisdom" is said because it is the nature of luminosity. "Great yoga" is said because it is separated from the yoga of the generation stage. "Incomparable" is said because it is separated from habitual tendencies. "Immaculate" is said because it is separated from afflictions of reason. All subtle parts are in the center.
