O! The so-called "Clear Light" refers to the order being explained, the nature of the collection of rays, and the form of naturally clear light. The so-called "Grasped" refers to the Buddha-sun, whose nature of grasping and being grasped is the nature of objects and subjects. The so-called "Twelve Rays" refers to the remainder that dwells purely in the form of twelve months. What are those? Therefore, it is said "Light Increases" and so on, the eye relies on the sense faculty. "Light Increases" means light, it relies on the ear sense faculty. "Blazing" means possessing splendor, it relies on the nose sense faculty. "Clear" means destroying darkness, it relies on the tongue sense faculty. "Light" means the nature of light, it relies on the body sense faculty. "Red" means red, the eyes are bright, it relies on the mind sense faculty. What are those like? Therefore, it is said, "Grasping external forms and so on." It means grasping the six external forms and so on. Therefore, it is said, "Relying on the eye and so on," meaning relying on the six sense faculties. The so-called "Ray Maker" refers to the very nature of clarity that relies on the object form. The so-called "Ray" refers to relying on sound. The so-called "Manifestation" refers to relying on smell. The so-called "Desire Mother" refers to relying on taste. The so-called "Ray" refers to relying on touch. The so-called "Sun" refers to relying on dharma, thinking "This is the sun." These are "Aspects of external forms and so on," referring to relying on the six objects. These six are considered light, referring to the nature of the grasped contained by the object. The so-called "Consider" means to say. Thus, having described the cause of the awakening of the goddesses, in order to awaken them, the nature of the awakening of the goddesses is described. From where do the goddesses arise? It is said "From where" and so on, referring to those who dwell in the chakra of the channels. From where? Therefore, it is said, "The sun of wisdom arises." It means, from the awakening of the Buddha-sun dwelling in the heart, possessing the friend of the twelve rays. This is said to be about the gods. [ཡང་དག་] (yang dag) is said to be non-inverted. དེའི་ is said to be the sun of the Buddha. ནུབ་པའོ་ is said to be the essence of the senses and objects universally enjoyed, arising from the father without abiding. This is the meaning of this phrase. If it is like this, therefore it is said "supreme," it is the cause of becoming an excellent state. Having thus shown one's own nature, now in order to show the complete understanding of suchness by abandoning arising and ceasing, the arising and ceasing are explained. It is said, "Arising and ceasing are all explained," this is an explanation of the two aspects. The supreme state should be known, this refers to the state of self-luminousness. Cutting off the two aspects also arises from meditating on the suchness of the Dharmadhatu. If it is like this, therefore it is said "well awakened," because by abandoning the two aspects, it is due to contraction and tranquility. Great Yoga is said to be free from the characteristics of Yoga such as the stages of generation other than that. The Buddha sun is the summation, it is said to be its essence. Summation is because of gathering. Thus, having shown awakening in three ways, and having shown the awakening of the goddesses, now, regarding arising and ceasing, in order to show the things that should be understood from other tantras, it is said "This is Yoga," etc., this is by the reasoning shown previously. Yoga is said to be the Yoga of the goddesses, that itself is said to be supreme, because it is the cause of it. The characteristics of arising and ceasing are said to be those just mentioned. Following the Vajra Light, Vajra Light is said to be following the Great Yoga Tantra. "Should be known" is said to be what should be understood. "From the mouth of the Guru" is said to be in the future, from the lotus feet of the Vajra Acharya. The Great Yoga Tantra, the extensive commentary on the glorious Vajra Garland, composed by Pandit Alamkakalasha, is called "Making the Profound Meaning Extremely Clear." The extensive explanation of the twenty-eighth chapter is completed. Twenty-sixth chapter, the chapter on joy.
