That which is called "the nature of speech" means the external nature of speech. That which is called "immovable essence" refers to the syllable Hūṃ spoken immediately before. That which is called "the color black" is because of the color of one's own lineage. That which is called "the name of the formless realm" means that it is the nature of mind, being the possessor of the four aggregates as one. Thus, having shown the separate and extensive explanation with four meanings, then, with three meanings, the seed of mind is shown on that itself, and for the sake of expressing the near collection of that, it is said, "Of the Vajra of Body, Speech, and Mind," referring to Vairocana and others. That which is called "well explained" means to speak. That which is called "essence" is the nature of the three syllables. Thus, having shown the explanation of the three syllables with four meanings, in order to explain the main syllable among them, the limb of that, asking about the meaning of that, it is said, "Asked again," etc., in relation to the previous question. That which is called "all-knowing" means that because one knows all dharmas as they are in their own nature, one is all-knowing. That which is called "Vajrapani" refers to the questioner. That which is called "joining palms" refers to joining the palms of the two hands together. Because of respectfully going forward, one completely asks. What was asked? Therefore, it is said, "The distinction of places," the three vajras referring to the body vajra, etc. That which is called "the meaning of the syllables" refers to the offering of the three syllables that should be spoken. That which is called "the distinction of places" refers to the distinction of the supports that have the characteristics of the wheel of Dharma, etc. That which is called "realization" means that I have realized it through the kindness of the Bhagavan. How is it mainly spoken? Therefore, it is said, "These," referring to from among these three syllables. How is it the master? Therefore, it is said, "With which syllable is it the nature of the master?" How is it mainly spoken? Therefore, it is said, "Master," master being an address to the Bhagavan, because it is the nature of the master of the five Buddhas. Thus, having shown the asking for the meaning of that, with entering the speech of the Bhagavan as a prelude, that

To show the vow to explain, the Bhagavan spoke again. Again, it is in relation to the previous statement. The Bhagavan has already spoken before. Called Vajradhara the Great, it is because its self-luminous essence holds the great Vajra. Called the Lord, it is because it has attained the position of the Lord of the Three Realms. Called Secret, it is because of its hidden nature. Called Supreme, it is the Supreme itself. Called Secret, it is profound. The meaning of hidden is that it is not easily understood immediately. You ask, it is the benefit that the Bhagavan spoke to Vajrapani's question. The tantras are all hidden, referring to the nature of actions, etc. Please listen, referring to listening. Truly explain, referring to clarifying with the non-inverted nature. Thus, entering the Bhagavan's teachings, in a preliminary way, it shows the beginning of the explanation. To explain the nature of the Lord, it speaks of the Lord, etc. The Lord is the Lord itself. Called the seed of the heart, it refers to the seed syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) of Akshobhya. It itself is the most important of all. Because all dharmas depend on the mind. How is it? Therefore, it is said to be non-conceptual, that is, not contaminated by conceptual thoughts. All, refers to all afflictions and pure states in every way. For what reason, the other Lords, refers to from what reason. Others, refers to the seeds of speech and body. Decrease and likewise seize, refers to the order as it is, namely conceptual thought and the two winds. Because from the seed of the mind arises the collection of conceptual thoughts with the number of one hundred and eight. Decrease, refers to abandoning after fully understanding the nature. The two winds are the nature of life force and downward-moving wind. Seize, refers to seizing by meditating on the remembrance of exhalation and inhalation, which is to dispel.
