"Also" means making a distinction in relation to what came before. It is related to "to explain the three letters." How so? Therefore, it is said, "itself," meaning that each letter is to be divided into three forms. How is it divided? Therefore, it is said, "supreme position," because "supreme" is the place where the three secrets reside. "Body," etc., refers to the three natures of emptiness, such as the body, etc., which are the essence of Vairocana, etc., because they are the originators of these. "The nature of the vow" refers to the nature of the particularly excellent symbol, and because it is immutable. "The three letters" refers to the three, such as the letter Om. "The essence of body, speech, and mind" refers to reversing the impure body, etc., because they are the very nature of the pure body, etc. "To explain as it is" refers to the five classes of tantras as they are known. "Listen to that" refers to Vajrapani being connected with hearing. "Separate" means by distinguishing. "As it is" means by the nature of being non-inverted. "Explain" means to be spoken. "Now" means the meaning of right now. Thus, after showing the composition of that, in order to speak of the actual explanation, first briefly show its parts, namely, "the letter Om" refers to the nature of the mind that is empty of meaning. "Vajra body" refers to the nature of the body's emptiness, which is the nature of Vairocana. "Truly explained as the essence" means that it has been spoken as the nature of the seed syllable. Thus, after explaining the brief presentation, in order to explain in detail through thorough differentiation, it is said, "the letter A," etc., as it is in the sutra. "The letter Om is the nature of the three letters" is the meaning. Thus, after showing the extensive explanation through thorough differentiation, in order to show its great nature by first explaining the place of the letter A, which is a branch of the individual extensive explanations, it is said, "A is the Dharma wheel lotus," the letter A is life.
