to write. If it is thick, illness will occur. If it is thin, wealth will be destroyed. If it is round, hatred will arise. If it is interrupted, the teacher and student will die. If it is not clockwise but downwards, it will be fixed with a colored powder stake. The outer line is white, the second is yellow, the third is similar to a ruby, the fourth is similar to an emerald, and the inner line is black. Therefore, this is the order of the five colors. The eastern ground is white, the south is similar to yellow, the west is red, the north is green, and the center is similar to indigo. The mandala of the heart is like that. By always remaining calm, write while holding a vajra bell. With colored powder the size of barley grains, fix the lines to each other. When drawing the mandala, if obstacles arise, then with the yoga of the wrathful deity called Amrita, recite its mantra to dispel them. namaḥ samanta kāya vāk citta vajrāṇāṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, namaḥ samanta kāya vāk citta vajrāṇāṃ, Homage! Universal Body, Speech, and Mind Vajras!). namo vajra krodhāya mahādaṃṣṭroṃṭkaṭa bhairavāya asi musala pāraśu pāśa hastāya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, namo vajra krodhāya mahādaṃṣṭroṃṭkaṭa bhairavāya asi musala pāraśu pāśa hastāya, Homage! With the yoga of the Amrita vortex, bend the ring finger and middle finger of the left hand, join the tips of the little finger and thumb tightly, then place the fang mudra near the mouth, and recite the letter phaṭ to dispel obstacles. Or fix it with the stake of the protection wheel mentioned earlier. Or truly cultivate bodhicitta, because whatever obstacles arise from the mind of clear light are neither temporary nor real, because they arise from mundane discriminations such as obstacles. Then, in the place where the Buddhas rejoice, as before, visualize seats such as lotuses and suns, and recite the essential mantras such as Vajradhara, in order to unite the internal deity image in the nominal with the Tathagata of space. The drawn emblems should be placed. Here, in the center, a five-pronged vajra, resembling an Indra sapphire, blazing like the fire at the end of an eon, and terrifying, should be drawn. In the position of Vairochana, a white eight-spoked wheel with flames, resembling the shape of a vajra, should be placed. Similarly, starting from the position of Ratnasambhava, up to the Rakshasa Vajra woman, in order, like the sun radiating flames, jewels, lotuses, and swords with rays, and eyes radiating light like clouds; a lotus blazing and blue in color, with a vajra and a trunk; a blue utpala (梵文:utpala,梵文罗马拟音:utpala,汉语字面意思:乌 উৎপལ་) flower similar to it, and an axe and vajra with flames, etc., a lotus decorated with the shapes of a blazing club and sword; and a variegated vajra of blue color, in the center and the four directions such as east, blue, white, red, and green should be drawn. Starting from the eastern silk, the wheel and the branches of the nagakesara; or the vajra, jewel, and lotus; the sword; again the sword; the teaching mudra; on the four corners of the outer silk, mirrors, lutes, incense burners, and skull cups filled with blood should be drawn. On the four doors, in the four directions such as the fire direction, iron hooks, clubs, tridents, and swords should be arranged. Above the lintel of the eastern door is the wheel; similarly, behind the lotus of the western door, a vajra lotus with a bell should be placed on the sun seat. If here one wishes to practice any deity such as the Heart Vajra, then at that time, let girls and boys of twelve years of age enter into Akshobhya and Mamaki, etc., and let them first perform the rituals such as drawing the mandala, and on the drawn mandala, according to the seat described in the sadhana, possessing form, color, face, and hands, etc., let all the deities enter the place of placement as they are, and then practice. In the four directions, four horse pedestals of the nature of jewels, etc., and four doors with flower garlands, bells, banners, etc.
