Me. (Tibetan: ངས།) Shortness is not left, all become pure. (Tibetan: ཐུང་དུ་མ་ལུས་དག་ཏུ་འགྱུར།) Neither one nor many. (Tibetan: གཅིག་མིན་དུ་མའང་མ་ཡིན་ནོ།) Six say four and three one, (Tibetan: དྲུག་བཤད་བཞི་དང་གསུམ་གཅིག་དང༌།) Essence is emptiness, nature is existent. (Tibetan: ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་མེད་རང་བཞིན་ཅན།) Those combined with the meaning of the first, (Tibetan: དེ་དག་དང་པོའི་དོན་སྦྱར་ནས།) The wisdom of the three times will be born. (Tibetan: དུས་གསུམ་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྐྱེ་བར་འགྱུར།) Such and so forth appear. The order of entering these three letters and so on, day and night, twenty-one thousand six hundred winds run. That uncorrupted recitation of limbs makes the speech completely pure. That absorbed into parts, at the end of the recitation of the hermaphrodite, the very luminosity is obtained. That recited at the time of wrathful recitation, it will become to do peaceful and other actions. That also makes the yogis of the generation stage, from the complete vajra and so on, complete the divine body. That also, through the door of urging the Tathagatas, attracts the power of those. That running upwards, becomes the cause of all mantras, enters in the manner of Āli and Kāli. That, with the equal absorption of means and wisdom, those running downwards, follow the essence of semen, blood and water, becoming the forms of Ratnasambhava, Amitābha and Akṣobhya. That expanded within the Dharmodaya, in the manner of son and grandson and so on, it also generates the three realms and their pure essence, the wheel of the mandala. Finally, entering into the luminosity, the state of the Great Vajradhara is obtained. Therefore, these three letters, which pervade the three realms, give the fruit of enjoyment and liberation, are the nature of the three Tathagatas such as Vairocana, are known as the form of all mantras, therefore it is called a collection. Therefore, the four kinds of mantra practitioners, such as Tuba, whatever is said above, rely only on these three letters, which were spoken by the Bhagavan. As it is said: Speech and object of focus, name and ultimate meaning. The speech of words is common, those with object of focus are the Buddhas themselves. The very nature of mantra is said to be name, the ultimate is the Tathāgatagarbha. Thus it appears. For the sake of explaining the reason, Āli.

Thus, it is said, mentioning "Kali" and so forth. The series beginning with A is Āli (ཨཱ་ལི, ā li). Whatever is the nature of the sixteen vowel letters beginning with A, which are the phases of the moon, their root is A itself. As it is said: In the center of the heart, is the indestructible, like a burning lamp, the sacred subtle letter, the letter A clearly abides as the chief. Thus it is said. That very series of vowel letters, doubled by skillful means and wisdom, transforms into the nature of the thirty-two major marks. That very thing, with the tsheg drag (་), the following vowels, the root letters of the tongue, the buzzing letters, and the three letters that abide at the end with the following vowels, the thirty-three that should be clarified, doubled, transforms into the nature of the eighty minor marks. That very thing, with the nature of the five short vowels, becomes the nature of the five aggregates, possessing the characteristics of the five wisdoms, the nature of skillful means, transforms into the nature of the five Tathagatas. That very thing, in the manner of the four letters connected with the five long vowels, should be known as the four mothers, such as Buddha Locana, who are the nature of wisdom, and the five offering goddesses, such as Rūpa Vajra and so forth. Completely abandoning the four neuter letters, in the manner of the twelve vowels, it transforms into the nature of the inner and outer sense bases. The four letters connected in the manner of the two, short and long vowels, embraced by Buddha Locana and so forth, those five Tathagatas and the four wrathful deities such as Yamāntaka, that is, the nature of the thirteen deities, transforms into the very nature of the mandala wheel. That very thing, with the nature of the five groups of letters beginning with Ka, the five mandalas of the five Tathagatas completely surrounded by the four goddesses, and the final sounds, the heat sounds, and the tsheg drag (་), together with the following vowels, transforms into the very wheel of the mandala surrounded by the ten wrathful kings. That is, with the distinction of short, long, and augmented, in the manner of eighteen aspects, it transforms into the nature of the eighteen elements. Among them, short, long, and augmented, each with and without a following vowel, and high, low, and medium.
