Etc. rituals. Transcending the world is subtle etc. Among them are pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, attracting, extremely hating, killing, expelling, and stiffening. Or wheel, jewel, lotus, sword, vajra, rilu, eye medicine, and foot speed, eight in total. Subtle etc. are subtle body, light touch, pervasive, truly attained, extremely manifest, stable, independent, and wish-fulfilling. Or, the mastery of body, the mastery of speech. Similarly, the mastery of mind. Miraculous powers and qualities are all mastered. The qualities of eating are eight. Thus, taking one's own perfect benefit as the main thing is the necessity. Taking the perfect benefit of others as the main thing is the necessity of necessity. The single word "necessity" encompasses both. As the reasoning of the tantra says: very fond is like a dog and white also includes walking. Therefore, necessity and its necessity have been completely summarized. Raising the topic is over, with words like "already" indicating close summary. With words like "second" indicating a brief explanation of the second point. With words like "tantra" indicating detailed explanation. With words like "born as a human" indicating separate explanations. Among them, after clearly explaining the reasoning of sutras, vinaya, and abhidharma etc., it is again explained through the gate of the great vehicle of mantra. Among them, first, the Blessed One showed birth as a human. Because the Blessed One Shakya Lion was born as a human in accordance with the need to tame beings. That reasoning is reasonable because it is not contradictory. Because for those who are not of the same kind, their bodies etc. are not the same, like cows etc. and birds etc. Therefore, the same is the lineage, that is, born as a great man of the royal lineage or a great man of the Brahmin lineage. Merely this cannot accomplish the purpose, because it cannot be accomplished without being free from attachment and not relying on solitude, so it is said from among the consorts. The Blessed One himself was dwelling among the consorts, in the middle of the night.

At that time, all the queens were asleep, and they manifested the contemplation of unattractiveness, thinking that this was a cemetery, and generated disgust. At that time, they saw the assembly of Buddhas who had come in the sky, free from attachment, entering the palace of the king. When they saw the Buddha manifesting his body, they became disgusted, and so they held onto the edge of the Buddha's Dharma robes. The path taken by the Bhagavan, the Solitary Buddha, was the very place from which they would certainly emerge. Having emerged, in a secluded monastery, they took the path of detachment from the holy ascetic. They shaved their heads with swords and took up the Dharma robes. Therefore, the departure of the queen's retinue is the beginning of the story, the initial rule of detachment. Even when dwelling in a monastery, if attachment and other afflictions arise, then leaving home becomes meaningless, therefore this is the third reason. The so-called "in the Vinaya," etc., what is taught in the Vinaya, that is, the collection of precepts spoken from the Pratimoksha vows, etc., were all taken up by the Bhagavan. This shows the necessity of collecting things that are in accordance with the meaning. Otherwise, if one has not taken vows, teaching them to others becomes meaningless. Therefore, this is reasonable, because it is the main part of benefiting sentient beings. This is to protect the words of the vows, such as the "words of certainty" that have been spoken. The fruit is the Buddha himself. Desiring that, it is with the desire to obtain it. Practicing the Dharma, that is, the ascetic practices, etc., that the Bhagavan performed, is called the cause, because it is the method for obtaining the fruit. This itself is reasonable, because restraining body, speech, and mind, this special characteristic of asceticism, is to be desired for enlightenment. The so-called "this," etc., shows the near gathering. The so-called "desire Dharma," etc., refers to the teachings of mantras that purify desire. Explanation is given to clearly understand the meaning. This is to explain the cause of completely understanding the meaning that is not false. The so-called five families of Buddhas, etc., refers to the five afflictions, realms, faculties, and objects.
