Eye consciousness, mind consciousness, and entering-the-womb consciousness. Some consider that the six entering-the-womb consciousnesses are made into one, which is one consciousness. As it is said: Objects and sentient beings, the self-appearance that arises separately, is consciousness, but that is meaningless, because without it, it does not exist. One is the consciousness of dependent origination, the second is the consciousness of close appropriation, enjoying enjoyment and driving, that arises from the mind. Thus it is said. Similarly, the ripening result is pride, and the object is the ability to distinguish. Thus it is said. Similarly, the only one appears as two, it is the confusion of the mind's own nature. With the difference of the grasper and the grasped, isn't it very skillful? And so on. Name and form have four aspects, namely, feeling, perception, and formation are formless aggregates. Form is the aggregate of form, the faculties, objects, and non-revealing form have eleven aspects. Thus, the nature of the four aggregates is called name and form. The six sense bases are: eye base, ear base, nose base, tongue base, body base, and mind base. That which arises from the gathering of faculties, objects, and consciousness is contact. Feeling is three kinds of experience, namely, the nature of pleasure, pain, and equanimity. Also, due to the difference of the eye and so on, there are eighteen kinds. Birth also has four kinds, namely, egg-born, moisture-born, womb-born, and miraculously born. The difference between hell, hungry ghosts, animals, gods, demigods, and humans, some consider it to be six realms. Some also consider it to be the difference between bad destinies and good destinies, that is, two realms. Aging is also the characteristic of being separated from ability. Death is abandoning the aggregates, the moment of consciousness, being in feeling, its nature is seven dharmas, those are birth, because the born are related to the seven dharmas such as consciousness. Afflictions, karma, and birth, these cause the sentient beings dwelling in the three realms to revolve like a waterwheel, obtaining from one destiny to another, experiencing intense afflictions.

May it be beneficial. Furthermore, it is stated in the Sutra of the River of Ashes: 'I am not afraid of thieves stealing my wealth, for once thieves have stolen it, the wealth no longer exists. However, the pure wealth that is accumulated and accumulated in the mind will surely be stolen by ordinary conceptual thoughts.' Therefore, monks in monasteries raise their hands and make a daylight-like call. Thus, it is known that the power of afflictions causes the arising of karma, the power of karma causes rebirth, and from that again comes karma, and again afflictions arise, thus revolving endlessly like a wheel. This wheel of existence is not created by me or anything else, but from emptiness alone arises the dharma of emptiness. As it is said: 'From three, two are born; from two, seven are born; and from seven, two are born again; therefore, this is the beginningless wheel of existence. From the dharma of emptiness, all dharmas arise with the nature of emptiness.' Like Khadon, butter lamps, mirrors, copper mirrors, flint, seeds, sourness, and sound, and the connection of the aggregates, even without transference, the wise should understand. Therefore, afflictions, karma, and rebirth themselves are nearly harmful, a great fault. Reversing these through the practice of the two stages is like covering with clothes, therefore it is called 'clothing.' Because it takes and holds it, it is called... The nature of the generation stage and completion stage refers to the nature of the words that express the meaning to be expressed. And the collection of scriptures that explain these is also called 'chapter,' meaning that the collection of words can reveal the nature of the two stages, namely, visualization and the perfect deity body. Some believe that just as the roof of a house can protect against wind, rain, and other disasters, 'chapter' can pacify obstacles such as afflictions. In the commentary on the Lamp Illuminating, this is the first chapter. First chapter: Extensive explanation of the empowerment of the mandala of the samadhi of all the Tathagatas.
