Now, complex explanations appear. Similarly, it is said that extensive explanations will become very clear. If that is the case, why did the Bhagavan teach the explanatory tantras, the subsequent tantras, and the branch tantras? The answer is: In this first kalpa, the Bhagavan only taught the oral instructions, and by that alone, the disciples would attain accomplishment. Later, seeing that they were unable to grasp the oral instructions, he taught the root tantras, which became known as scriptures. After that, even with the root tantras, they could not understand, so he taught the subsequent tantras and the branch tantras. After that, since the subsequent tantras and the branch tantras did not clarify everything, he also taught the explanatory tantras. If even with these they could not understand, then at that time, the distinguished previous teachers would write commentaries, difficult commentaries, ṭīkās, and ornaments, and would continue to do so. Therefore, depending on the difference in time and the difference in the intelligence of the disciples, there is no problem with the Bhagavan teaching the Dharma in brief and in detail. Regarding "observing the secrets of body, speech, and mind," the meaning is this: In the aspect of the generation stage, it is body, speech, and mind because it reveals the very nature of the three families, which are the near gathering of the five families. The secret is that it also reveals separately the nature of the great Vajradhara, who is also the near gathering. In the completion stage, it is also for the sake of separately revealing the nature of the body, speech, and mind being completely pure, which is vajra recitation; the mind being completely pure; the characteristic of self-blessing and the characteristic of the clear light of the four initiations, which is the stage of manifest enlightenment. Whichever of body, speech, and mind it is, gathering it near, quickly and correctly generating the inseparable bliss of the two, having the nature of non-abiding nirvana, for the sake of separately revealing the stage of union, it is also a secret, therefore it is the secret of body, speech, and mind. "Observing" means through hearing and thinking, etc. "Comprehending" means through meditation.

Therefore. The creator obtained it from the great Vajradhara, and it was created by the collector with that very sound and that very word, and with the meaning that is in accordance with it. The mandala of samadhi is generated within the lotus, and it is the mandala of manifestation. The so-called "Secret Assembly" is the one that possesses the aforementioned meaning. Blessing means that wherever there is a chapter of joy and laughter, that is the blessing of the mandala of samadhi of all the Tathagatas. A chapter is a word of fame, meaning that the meaning of the tantra is shown separately as a complete and decisive sign. Or it is a word of fame for harmony. It should be taken from the gate of the meaning of the limbs. Just as that which destroys the harm of flies and mouth sores is known as clothing, so it is called clothing because it destroys the near-side harm of afflictions, karma, and birth, like clothing. Here, the Blessed One declared the characteristics of the twelve branches of dependent origination, which is the wheel of existence, such as ignorance, action, consciousness, name and form, six senses, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence, birth, old age and death. Among them, the first, eighth, and ninth are ignorance, craving, and grasping, which are called afflictions. For what reason is ignorance the root of all afflictions? For what reason does permanence, purity, happiness, and self appear in impermanence, impurity, suffering, and selflessness? It is ignorance, because it is the nature of the darkness of great ignorance. Those who practice with it are existence, joy, greed, etc., because they generate desire for the enjoyment of existence. They are the root of the wheel of existence of the six realms of the previous ignorance and existence. As it is said: "The one who has self is the thought of others, greed and hatred arise from the difference between self and others, the two are bound together, and all faults increase." Taking is also the sign of their growth, taking the aggregates separately. Thus afflictions

That's all. Similarly, the second and tenth, namely formation and existence, are karma. Among them, formation is of two kinds: associated with mind and not associated with mind. Among them, that which is associated with mind is of three kinds: virtuous, non-virtuous, and neutral. Neutral is of two kinds: obscured neutral and unobscured neutral. Among them, whatever is associated with afflictions is obscured neutral. Whatever is separated from them is unobscured neutral. Among them, that which is associated with mind includes: intention, feeling, perception, desire, contact, intelligence, memory, attention, conviction, samadhi, faith, shame, embarrassment, non-stinginess, non-hatred, non-ignorance, diligence, pliancy, conscientiousness, equanimity, non-harming, and from attachment to conduct, there are fifty-one. Acquisition and non-acquisition, commonality, non-perception, cessation attainment, non-perception attainment, life faculty, birth, abiding, aging, impermanence, aggregates of names, aggregates of sentences, and aggregates of letters, these that are not associated with mind are fourteen. Existence is of three kinds: dying existence, intermediate existence, and birth existence. These are karma, because they are the nature of virtue and non-virtue. The remaining seven are categories of suffering, namely birth. Consciousness, name and form, six sense sources, contact, feeling, birth, aging and death. Among them, consciousness is the alaya consciousness, afflicted mind, eye consciousness, ear consciousness, nose consciousness, tongue consciousness, body consciousness, and mind consciousness, totaling eight. Or five: alaya, afflicted mind, sense consciousness abiding in one's own and others' continuums, entering consciousness, and consciousness appearing distinctly as form and so on. Or three: the ripening consciousness.
