No. These two stages have already been explained together with their classifications and characteristics. The six limits have also been learned from the tantra that has been spoken of. Since the tantra has been understood, what need is there for explanation? In order to point this out, it is said, "All Buddhas have blessed it." Just as kings bless their own treasuries, all the Buddhas have blessed this tantra with vajra words in all the places of secret instructions. Therefore, it is opened with the key of commentary. What is Vajrasattva like? It is said to be "all-pervading lord" because he is the lord of all the Tathagatas. Because the five wisdoms appear to be different, it is the aspect of conventional truth. When all these powers are gathered together, they become the state of non-dual wisdom, which is the suchness of the nature of emptiness, the Bhagavan, the great all-pervading Vajradhara who is one taste of wisdom and knowledge. The word "glorious" has been said before. Vajrasattva is to be explained, that is, the five abandonments and the five wisdoms. "Vajra" is explicitly stated. The meaning is this: abandoning the five consciousnesses, the nature of the five wisdoms is emptiness and luminosity, which is called vajra. That same being, where its nature exists, that is Vajrasattva. Or, vajra is the wisdom of skillful means. Sattva is the wisdom of prajna. These becoming one taste is the Bhagavan Vajrasattva. Or, glorious is skillful means, that is, vajra wisdom. Therefore, compassion and emptiness are inseparable, that is, glorious Vajrasattva. Also from the Vajrasekhara Tantra: "Firm and having essence, empty inside and without substance, inseparable, undivided, having characteristics, unburnable and indestructible, emptiness is called vajra." "Having bowed down" means to bow down with body, speech, and mind, or to follow its nature. "In order" means in sequence. Chandrakirti's commentary, the Prasannapada, says that "clearly showing" means to clearly indicate. In order to indicate the place of the two stages that were previously spoken of, it is said, "The generation stage is the first," that is, the most important stage of the generation stage.
