Since various conceptualizations arise simultaneously, it is impossible to determine which is the object of which. For that which is uncertain, there is no connection between the speaker and the spoken, just like the sound of a cow. Furthermore, if 'difference' is considered the meaning of sound, then when uttering the sound 'fire,' the mouth should be burned; and when uttering 'pot,' the mouth should be filled with the pot. But this is not seen to be the case. Therefore, 'difference' is not the meaning of sound. Since there is no universal, there is also nothing associated with a universal, because the word 'associated' arises from words that express connection. Connection is eliminated through the negation of universals, because connection requires two things. Therefore, if connection is made permanent in the order previously described, there will be no mutual connection between things, because everything is established from itself. All things, by their own nature, abide in their own essence; since they depend on the opposition of their own and others' essences, therefore, the reason why things are opposed from anything is that their differences are grasped by carefully examining the distinctions of universals. Therefore, if one can correctly understand the difference of another thing, it is not appropriate to replace it with something else. Therefore, 'different' is a different name, and is the connection of autonomy and otherness. Thus, and so on, it is explained that there is no connection. Thus, by negating universals and so on, for the debaters, sound itself has no meaning. Therefore, the eight kinds of valid cognition will not be meaningful for anything, because there is no object to be measured. Because it has been said that the object to be measured is established from valid cognition. Therefore, what meaning do sounds without objects express? Furthermore, the debaters also admit that the meaning of sound is not established, so it should be answered that, for the time being, in terms of action, it is unreasonable to perform actions of complete harm, such as killing goats, in order to obtain the characteristics of offerings, bathing, asceticism, fasting, and meditation, such as the fruits of heaven and liberation. Heaven is the nature of enjoying comfort, and comfort is obtained through giving, not through killing sentient beings. Or, if it is liberated by the power of the mantra of the ritualist, then why are all the doors closed?

It is a theatrical performance. What? Does the mantra have no power? Or is controlling the senses the only main thing? If that's the case, the mantra is meaningless. If controlling the breath with mantras is said to be killing with compassion, then if that's the case, why not kill those who are very dear and close to you? If it's said that they don't want it, then why harm livestock, saying they don't want it either? Therefore, actions such as fire offerings, which are by nature harmful, are sinful, so they are not the cause of attaining heaven. As it is said: Killing sentient beings is disgusting, violent people have hands stained with blood, constantly engaging in sinful deeds, these people will be born in hell. Furthermore, because it is endowed with conceptualization, it will not lead to liberation. Because the aspect of his actions is fire offerings, and endowed with recitations and bathing, etc., it is with conceptualization. The nature of abandoning everything is non-conceptualization, which is liberation. Therefore, the liberation of non-conceptualization cannot be attained by the path of conceptualization, because the causes are different. Just as the fruit of rice does not come from a barley seed. Therefore, through the samadhi of completely abandoning all conceptualizations, one will attain constant, stainless, uncontaminated, and non-conceptual liberation. Therefore, no fruit will be attained in your aspect of actions, so the analysts consider that efforts such as cleanliness will become meaningless. As it is said: Desiring virtue through bathing, despised by lineage, some take the Vedas as a measure, relying on asceticism to exhaust sins, these are the five signs of foolishness of the unwise. This is the answer to the analysts of the aspect of actions. In the aspect of wisdom, holding religious robes and the like is also contradictory. The Brahmins who claim that the ultimate of the Vedas is secret, in the aspect of the wise who abandon everything, holding religious robes, holding a topknot, a three-pronged staff, adorning three dots, wearing a কৃষ্ণসার (kṛṣṇasāra, कृष्णसार, kṛṣṇasāra, 黑羚羊) skin, wandering from place to place, etc., are contradictory. Initially, the ascetics who abide in sacred yoga, practicing all these, do not attain that itself through religious robes and the like, it is a theatrical performance.
