Sa bu'o. Then, why is it that one thing can be both cause and effect? The answer is that for the union of one taste, the names of cause and effect are only nominally established through thought, but it is not so in the ultimate sense. Therefore, for a yogi who has attained the wisdom of omniscience, all things that exist in the difference between cause and effect are of one essence only, and they do not appear to him in a differentiated form. For those who measure like us, there is no fault in thinking so. Or, simply by understanding that the discriminations of samsara and nirvana mutually merge into one taste, samadhi will be manifested. Therefore, the difference between cause and effect is nominally established, and there is no harm in it. If so, if this is samadhi, then how does one arise from it? If there is no arising, then there is no benefit for sentient beings at that time, and thus a contradiction arises. The answer is that the so-called arising from samadhi is not the destruction of samadhi, but rather, simply by entering into samadhi itself, the affairs of sentient beings are accomplished. Because the actions of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, are of four kinds: the abiding of conduct, the abiding of teaching, the abiding of samadhi, and the abiding of individual correct entry. Among them, the state in which the activity of the body of the Buddhas is constantly abiding is the abiding of conduct. The state in which the activity of speech is constantly abiding is the abiding of teaching. The state in which the activity of mind is constantly abiding is the abiding of samadhi. The state in which the Buddhas abide in the bliss of the seen Dharma, and the state in which the activity of mind is constantly abiding when approaching the abodes of gods and others, is the abiding of individual correct entry. The conduct of abiding in equipoise is the abiding, because the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, are constantly abiding in equipoise. Therefore, for a yogi who abides in the stage of union, whether he arises from samadhi or not, there is no difference, because it is only samadhi, because it is separated from non-samadhi. If two

If it is equal to space, then why does it benefit sentient beings even after becoming non-conceptual? Answer: It benefits sentient beings through the power of past aspirations and great compassion, not through conceptual thought. Sentient beings, merely by encountering it, will have all their hopes fulfilled, like a wish-fulfilling jewel and a virtuous vase. As it is said: Merely by encountering it, like a person obtaining a wish-fulfilling jewel. From walls and other things, desired manifestations also arise. Therefore, in the state of Buddhahood, the net of afflictions is exhausted, but form bodies can still appear due to the force of past aspirations, and it can also benefit sentient beings, like a potter's wheel. As it is said: That which burns the firewood of the view of the destructible aggregates, which generates faults, that which uproots the realms of self and other from their very foundation, those are without fault, and even without fault, they engage in the activity of a magical person through compassion. The wise remain, turning like a wheel, by the power of past aspirations. Gompalwa also said: After you, the indestructible one, attain manifest enlightenment, when you, the indestructible one, are also recorded in writing, then how will those who have long declined fare? Those without hooks make wrong efforts. This is the samadhi of the union stage, the completion stage. Thus, the generation stage and the completion stage, along with their limbs and distinctions, have been very well explained. Relying on the meaning of the complete commentary, the teacher Chandrakirti revealed the meaning from the commentary. At the beginning of composing this, there are three aspects: the activity, the result of the activity, and the result of the result of the activity. Among these, from the four great tantras of yoga, namely the Vajramala, the Questions of the Four Goddesses, the Prophecy of Intent, and the Collected Wisdom Vajra, having accurately extracted from the explanatory tantras, whatever is done as a commentary on the glorious Guhyasamaja, that is the activity. From the extensive explanatory tantras, those of lesser intelligence cannot grasp the meaning; making it easy for them to understand is the result of the activity.
