So. The time of the west is the wisdom of attainment. At dawn, the fourth is the wisdom of clear light, which is the stage of external Abhisambodhi. This stage also shows the stage of internal Abhisambodhi. For example, the five signs are like mirages, smoke, sky appearance, candlelight, and cloudless sky. As it is said: From the distinction of the limits of karma, first the earth merges into water, water merges into fire, fire follows the wind, and the wind truly enters the sky. The one who holds the sky is the one who has abandoned the three wisdoms. So it is said. Or from the gate of the Samaya mudra is the external Abhisambodhi, and from the gate of the wisdom mudra and the Mahamudra is the internal Abhisambodhi, it should be understood as such. With those stages, in order to stabilize the yogi who understands Suchness, one should also aspire to Suchness with two kinds of samadhi. Among them, in the direction of the navel, in the mandala of the eight-spoked Dharma wheel, meditate on the seed syllable रཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: रं, Romanized Sanskrit: raṃ, literal Chinese meaning: rang) radiating flames of fire. With its appearance, it should pervade the entire body from the crown of the head, and abide in the clear light of emptiness nature, this is the samadhi called complete holding. Similarly, one must first make the three realms of stable and moving nature clear light, and later what is done to oneself in this way is the samadhi of subsequent destruction. The example of the two samadhis is, just as the water of a river or pond is clear and stainless, and the moon dwells in it. In the same way, the yogi constantly thinks of destroying in accordance with it. Just as the breath on a mirror gradually disappears, so look at it truthfully. This stage of complete holding should also be constantly observed by the yogi. So it is said. With the stage of Abhisambodhi, by this, abandoning all the distinctions of the nature of the five wisdoms, abiding in the nature of supreme joy, the yogi attains liberation while alive, this is the stage of Abhisambodhi. Now I will show the stage of union, which also has two types, the union of cause and the union of fruit.

into union. There are four types of union of cause: the distinctions in the views of the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, Madhyamikas, and Mantrayana. For them, after obtaining the clear light of the four stages, the coemergent and ultimate are inseparable, the great glorious Vajradhara, endowed with all supreme qualities, quickly accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings, is free from the appearance of all dualistic grasping, and attains the unsurpassed body. This is a summary of the samadhi of union. In it, the distinctions between the realms of the two nirvanas with remainder and without remainder, as well as the selflessness of the person and the selflessness of phenomena, the samadhi of non-discrimination and the samadhi of cessation, with signs and without signs, permanence and annihilation, conventional and ultimate, permanence and impermanence, purity and impurity, existence and non-existence, things and non-things, the body of mantra and the body of wisdom, the generation stage and the completion stage, conceptual yoga and perfection, emptiness and compassion, skillful means and wisdom, etc., all the habitual tendencies of dualistic grasping are completely extinguished, and one abides in the twelfth stage, the All-Illuminating. Therefore, the purity that arises from that, abiding in worldly wisdom, having attained the thirteenth stage, is the very nature of the union of perfect conduct. For example, being free from things like a Brahmin and an outcaste, a prostitute, a daughter and a wife, camphor and feces, a fierce one and a vajra-holder, heaven and hell, happiness and suffering, fame and infamy, gain and no gain, praise and blame, possessing undistracted mindfulness, holding the body of a Buddha, diligently working for the benefit of sentient beings from one Buddha-field to another, one becomes Vajrasattva, possessing the name of great bliss. If that is the result, then how can it be the cause? Because the four stages are the means, the cause. The fifth is the nature of the no-more-learning result.
