It speaks of suchness as it is. It is not spoken according to intention. It is said that there is no contradictory sound, which is a concluding remark. This is the adornment of meaning, because only meaning should be adorned. The phrase "mandala, etc." refers to asking about various mandalas and words such as measurements. Similarly, contemplation refers to showing the various karmas of hatred, etc., through contemplation of Yama, the lord of death, etc. Conduct refers to having elaboration, etc. The phrase "how, how it is said" refers to those words that show this and that. The phrase "what is not said to be profound in meaning" refers to being separated from the meaning of suchness and only showing external elaboration. That is what is said in the true word. It means that the sound shows a meaning similar to how it exists. This is also the adornment of sound. As it is said: The sacred mandala of the heart, should be measured at twelve cubits. As it is said, it should not be more or less than that. Similarly, it should be understood from contemplation and discernment. The phrase "koṭa-ṣa, etc." refers to two sounds here: mundane and scriptural. Among them, the mundane are, for example: cow, horse, man, bird, deer, elephant, Brahmin, etc. The scriptural are, for example: truth, the Three Jewels, suchness, the true limit, emptiness, etc. Koṭa-ṣa, etc., are neither mundane nor scriptural. If so, why is it said? The so-called Tathagata is to create confusion for those who read the scriptures themselves, so the Bhagavan Tathagata spoke those names of the root and branch winds. For example, like bhusuko. It is the meaning of eating, sleeping, and walking. The phrase "that is not known as the true word" is because the sound is different when expressing the meaning. This is also the adornment of sound, because words are also sounds. If so, what is the difference between the true word and the straight meaning? It is said: through the distinction of the adornment of sound and meaning. What is the difference between the straight meaning and things that do not need to be believed? Through the distinction of unclear and clear. The true word

Yes, for those who speak with a hidden meaning, the distinction is made by the difference between non-contradictory and contradictory words. For the definitive meaning and the non-hidden meaning, the distinction is made by the difference between individuals with sharp faculties and those with dull faculties. For the hidden meaning and the non-literal meaning, the distinction is made by the difference between contradictory and unknown words. Thus, the straight meaning, the definitive meaning, and the non-hidden meaning are the ornaments of meaning. Speaking with a hidden meaning and non-literal meaning are the ornaments of language. Thus, the divisions of the six extremes have been explained. In order to show the manner of explaining that shows only the two stages, the divisions of explanation and so on are mentioned. The meaning of the letters and so on is briefly indicated. By the names "first, only, merely," etc., the numbers are explained in detail by going first. When gathered together, they become eight kinds. In order to show them separately, "only focusing on sound" means being manifestly attached to sound. "Those skilled in outer treatises" refers to those who are skilled in the words, authors, proofs, and summaries of logic and grammar treatises, etc. "Showing well the proof of that" means that the teachings that are in accordance with that, whatever the Blessed One has taught, are the meaning of the letters. Whatever is said and spoken about the meaning of the letters is the nature of one aspect of the generation stage, abandoning the completion stage. Therefore, this is the ornament of language, because it is merely a variety of sounds. In order to show the common meaning, "Sutra, etc." is mentioned, etc. Sutra, etc., refers to the Hearers, the Sutra School, the Yoga School, and the Middle Way School, etc. Whenever, due to the connection of past habits, or meeting with a virtuous friend, the Great Vehicle of Mantra is shown, at that time, having heard vows and precepts that contradict one's own vows, one becomes remorseful, and thus slanders the words of Secret Mantra, and the sins of that will fall like moths into a flame. In order to prevent their regret, the teachings of the Blessed One were spoken in accordance with this. Who thinks this is reasonable?
