Those individuals, with one voice, first supplicate for the initial report. The Bhagavan also individually instructed them, this is the assembly of all Buddhas. Or, drawing everything into the mandala of vows is the assembly. Or, the essence of body, speech, and mind, through the gradual practice of the entry of the three letters, when the wheel of all Tathagatas becomes one, is the assembly. Furthermore, by the power of irreversibility, at the appropriate time, through the disciple's Brahma aperture, the Tathagata enters and becomes one, this is the assembly. In the completion stage, the bodhicitta that transmigrates from the seventy-two thousand channels is regarded as the essence of all Tathagatas, and is held by the limb that holds the vajra tip, this is the assembly. Or, gathering all phenomena closely, meditating on the form of the Great Seal, which is the essence of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, is the assembly. Such various aspects are not explained here due to the fear of extensive scriptures. "Secret" means that which should be spoken, and is called "Guhyasamaja" (Secret Assembly). Making the ordinary body, speech, and mind transcend the world is secret. The essence of body and so on, through the practice of the entry of the three letters and so on, is secret. Or, experiencing great bliss in the three channels such as the umbrella of desire is secret. Likewise, other things will be explained below. As it is said: Body, speech, and mind are three aspects, the name of secret is explicitly stated, assembly is said to be abbreviated, all Buddhas are called by this name. Thus it appears. In order to prohibit looking at one's own texts and for the teacher to show the oral instructions, it is said, "That was obtained from glorious Nagarjuna." That is because glorious Nagarjuna personally instructed the disciples separately, not through lineage. When he speaks with the special meaning of the word assembly, he indicates the name of the tantra. In order to declare what should be declared, it is said, "The place of the two stages." The generation stage and the completion stage are the two stages. Their place is the assembly. Therefore, what should be declared is only those.
