English

The wood for binding feet, etc., with ropes, etc. Weapons are swords, etc. A net is a tool woven with thin ropes for the purpose of catching deer, etc. The word "etc." indicates things like digging through walls to steal wealth, or adding the juice of dhatura flowers to alcohol to cause fainting, or catching fish with iron hooks, or setting fire to villages, etc. "Filling" means only to the extent of making one's own stomach full. "Mind" means to think. "Mahayana unsurpassed" means the most excellent of all. "Unsurpassed" refers to the Vajrayana, because it is devoid of the word "unsurpassed." The word "crown of the head" has a special meaning, that is, it has already been explained before as being related to meaning, etc. "Precious person" means that in relation to sandalwood, etc., he is a great holy being. "Therefore, he goes" means that it is a word indicating closeness, not that sandalwood, etc., do not act with the Vajrayana, but that certainly everything is accepted. The "chief" also sees the name, just like saying "who goes, the king goes." Regarding "father," etc., for example, patricide is like the son of Vishnu, because he killed his father and his ministers. Matricide is like Angulimala. Killing an Arhat is like King Ashoka the Tyrant. Destroying the Buddha's body refers to flesh-eating demons, etc. Abandoning the sacred Dharma refers to the Samkhya school, etc. In order to explain the meaning of the five inexpiable sins. "Immediately after death, one will fall into hell" because immediately after being born in hell, one experiences the results of karma. "Close indication" refers to the characteristic Dharma inferred from undifferentiated closeness. "Engaging in that" means that there is no difference between the action and the actor. Including the inexpiable sins and the near inexpiable sins refers to engaging in sexual relations with a woman who is not one's mother or an Arhat, as well as the place where a Bodhisattva resides, killing students, stealing the wealth of the Sangha, causing discord in the Sangha, destroying stupas, etc., are all committing these sins. The four root downfalls refer to killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, and lying. Like a tala tree with its head cut off, like a tala tree stump with its head cut off.
