Therefore, as shown by "as it is said" and so on. The so-called "Explanatory Tantra" comes from the Vajramala. "Transcending all limbs of meditation" refers to the initial union, the supreme mandala of the deity, and the supreme mandala of action, which are all the limbs of meditation. Transcending them means being separated from them. "Discrimination" refers to the activity of the winds characterized by entering, abiding, and rising. "Non-discrimination" refers to the three appearances and the three aspects of self-nature. "Separated from this, completely abandoned" means abandoning them with the suchness that purifies the self-nature appearance. "Curved arising" refers to the sixteen vowels beginning with i. "Bindu" refers to the amount of mustard seed size placed in the heart. "Transcended" means being separated from it. "This is the mandala" refers to the luminous suchness that has become the essence, because it says, "Everything is empty, luminous." "Is supreme" means it is the nature of the ultimate truth. "Is the meaning of certainty" means that the luminous suchness is shown by the complete purification of the mind. The fourth chapter of the Commentary Illuminating the Lamp is complete. Chapter Five: Extensive Explanation of the Supreme Practice of Universal Conduct The explanation of the fifth chapter begins with "Two Stages," etc. In this, the first chapter shows the deity's body of two forms. The second chapter shows only the ultimate truth. The third chapter shows the nature of the deity's body, which is the conventional truth. The fourth chapter shows the mandala of the heart, which is the nature of the conventional and ultimate truths. By meditating in this way, one can fully realize the two stages, that is, realize the two stages. "Even by obtaining empowerment" refers to the order spoken of in the fourth chapter. "If one does not achieve by being separated from conduct" means that the yogi cannot attain accomplishment by abandoning the conduct of the three aspects such as elaboration, which is the meaning. Because by gradual meditation and habituation, one will attain the supreme state. Conduct is the cause, by which one will realize the suchness that is the result. It should be obtained through habituation, not self-

It is not to be obtained by new learning. What is the use of diligent practice? The very nature of being primordially accomplished, That itself is accomplished by its own nature, not born from conceptualization. If one abandons the stages of wisdom, Who would think in this way? Because they do not know its distinctions, They again and again learn those things. This first world, Because it enters from the ultimate truth, This method, the complete Buddha, Spoke of it as a ladder of steps. Thus it is said. The "all Tathagatas" refers to the body Vajradhara and so on. The "nature of body, speech, and mind" is the one who gathers closely, the glorious Vajrasattva. In that, the lineage is shown in a hundred ways, In short, it is five kinds. By the distinction of body, speech, and mind, From the outside, it becomes three kinds. Thus it appears. Therefore, because he is the lord of those, he is the king, the lord of the three realms. The "showing successively in the underworld, on the earth, and in the heavens" means that he shows diligence in taming the realms of sentient beings dwelling in the heavens, on the earth, and in the underworld. The worldly gods such as Vishnu and the Great God, because they know and have obtained the five kinds of clairvoyance. The "Shravakas and so on" refers to the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas. The "transcendental" refers to having obtained the six kinds of clairvoyance. Or, because the view of the side with self and without self is the main one, it is worldly and transcendental. Or, because of having harm and not having harm. The "subduing by means of miracles and so on" means that he subdues them by means of bodily miracles such as blazing and appearing, and speech miracles such as teaching, and mind miracles such as single-pointedness. As it is said: "The depth of the ocean cannot be found, It becomes like the tracks of a cow. When your wisdom is deep, Seeing no bottom and no shore, When your doctrine is manifest, All phenomena cannot be moved, Like the stability of the earth element, Like the tips of the branches of a tree."
