Impelled by impartial compassion, in order to bring to fruition the fruits of previous aspirations, and for the sake of guiding future sentient beings, the Bhagavan arose from the ultimate truth. As explained in the Lamp Illuminating [the Tantras]: Being impelled by the goddesses of the four immeasurables, and by the force of the continuous stream of previous aspirations, having arisen from the yoga of emptiness, in order to firmly engage in the enjoyment of the bliss of great delight, embracing, kissing, sucking, striking with the palms, scratching with teeth and nails, kneading, pulling, stretching, the village posture, fainting, the swaying of pearl necklaces, bangles, armlets, the sound of anklets, objects and faculties—that is, vajra and lotus—being joined together, and through the equal absorption of wisdom and means, Ali and Kali, the umbrella of desire and the tortoise, and the full moon, the three channels being moved by three fingers and intensely agitated, experiencing the bliss of supreme delight through the sound of the illusion of joy, the essence of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, all the Tathagatas, beginning from the crown of the head, melting like a stream of immaculate water and dripping into the essence of bodhicitta, being properly placed within the dharmodaya, thereby, in order to purify sentient beings who engage in hatred and so forth, extracting the wheel of the mandala, again entering into luminosity and becoming non-conceptual, upon that, together with the wisdom mudra, contemplating the aspects of the three faces and so forth, one should contemplate abiding in the samadhi called "the splendor of all desirable qualities." Its intention is that the Bhagavan and the goddesses are the essence of means and wisdom, the nature of emptiness and compassion. They are inseparable from each other, like fabrication and impermanence. Therefore, when the Bhagavan fully enters into the ultimate truth, at that time the aspect of compassion fully enters into the goddesses in the manner of a reflection. Whatever aspect of emptiness the goddesses have, that enters into the Bhagavan as a reflection.
