The twentieth is from the principle of mantra, so it is said. "Separation" means dividing with one hundred and eight lines, that is, with the order of small parts, etc., that is its meaning. Showing the mandala with thread. It means that the difference between the inner and outer mandalas is to clearly divide with thread. "Not used for others" means that the six-cubit size is not used for drawing lines on other mandalas. "Correctly wound" means wound firmly so that it will not break. Otherwise, it will become a great fault, because there is a saying that "If the thread breaks, the lama dies." The twenty-fifth of the mandala means the size of twenty-four cubits, or the size of six cubits. This should also be understood from the shape of the mandala, in each direction or in all directions. In this way, the lines of the four corners can be drawn well. "Having five colors" means using thread with five colors in order. Because there is a saying that "This is said by the nature of the Five Tathagatas." The thread conforming to drawing the mandala is shown. "Neither too thin nor too thick" means about the thickness of hemp thread, that is its meaning. If the thread is too thick, the drawn lines will also be thick, and if it is too thin, the lines will also be thin. Because there is a saying that "If it is thick, it will cause disease, and if it is thin, it will destroy wealth." "Such a thread" means having the characteristics of a thread, that is its meaning. "It is a complete display of the mandala" means the collector, which is an extra word. Twelve cubits means each direction or all directions, because each appearance and the arising of appearance, as well as the near attainment of appearance and the mind of clear light nature, or with the difference of small, medium, and large, there are twelve forms. Because the wisdom nature of appearance and so on is Bhagavan Akshobhya. "Because it has four corners" means it is Samantabhadra. Having the four gates of the east and so on.

The meaning of having four doors, including the east, is as follows. It means the outer mandala. The statement that there is no four-cubit or other inner mandala means just that. The wheel, or inner mandala, indicates that this mandala is the second level. The meaning of the inner circle and the outer square is as follows. To show this, it should be drawn like a complete circle, referring to the inner mandala. The ritual, meaning the twenty rituals including purifying the ground, refers to the twenty rituals including purifying the ground, as composed by the venerable Nagarjuna. Now, to allow beings to enter, the ritual of the mandala of practice will be explained. Request instructions from the Acharya two or three times. The secret nectar is a supreme vessel. Possessing integrity and faith. Disciples who desire liberation. Those embraced by the glorious assembly. I will connect this with Bodhi. The Guru should thus embrace them. With a compassionate mind. The Vajra Acharya, skilled in the principles of the Great Vehicle, possessing the intention to liberate all beings, with the power of faith and hearing, etc., having comprehended the self-illuminating nature of all dharmas, having purified all worldly conduct without impurity, abiding in the joyful purity of universally practicing all realms of dharma, with the accumulation of wisdom increasing, having distanced the dimness of the web of ignorance arising from the habitual patterns of false discriminations, when the disciple requests from such an Acharya, he should think: I shall place all sentient beings in the state of supreme bliss. Then he should ask the disciple: Have you gathered all the necessary items? If he says: I have gathered some, but not all. Then, in his center, upon the sun mandala placed there, from the rays of light emanating from the syllable Hūṃ, from the syllable Kaṃ located in the heart, a black, fierce, flesh-eating demon-like sin is expelled from the right nostril, and the syllable Hūṃ also arises from the heart.
