I, all sentient beings, are delightful when unexamined. As it is said in the scriptures. When is it that one does not practice with the application of non-objectification? However, if one thinks that merely appearing is the object, then when things appear as if they exist, if one thinks so, then, in response to that, it is said: The so-called contemplation of existence refers to the contemplation of things that appear as fully established aspects, which is the same as mindfulness or abiding, which is unreasonable. Because even without contemplation, things exist. Its meaning is, if the object of observation is self-established, then self-establishment does not depend on others, so there is no need for contemplation. Or, if it is said that things are established by others, then at that time it cannot be said to exist, because it arises from dependent origination. As it is said: That which arises dependent on that, that itself is not born from that. What is not born of its own nature, how can that be said to be born? As it is said. Therefore, for the aspect of being established by others, contemplation is also unnecessary. If one thinks that with the application of non-objectification, things become non-existent, and then prevents the contemplation of existence, so there is no contemplation, then, in order to refute that some things are a mixture of existence and non-existence, the so-called possessing the thought of non-existence and existence, if a thing exists, then it obtains its own entity from itself and the conforming assembly, If it can perform its function, then it will never become a nature separated from the ability of all things. Non-existent things are also like rabbit horns, unable to express separation from the ability to perform their function, so how can they obtain the status of things? Because it has the nature of mutual exclusion, it is contradictory. Therefore, it is both a thing and a non-existent thing, it is unreasonable to use two names on one thing. However, if one asks: How can the thing itself and the moment be contradictory to each other, how can they exist on one thing, is it the same here? The answer is: The thing itself and the moment itself, these two things are reasonable. However, the moment itself is the thing itself. The permanent is said to be a thing.

Because of the deceptive mind that arises from producing other similar things, one thinks that this is the only permanent thing. When a hammer or the like encounters a cause of destruction, due to having a dull mind, one thinks that the pot is destroyed. But in reality, that is what is initially destroyed, because it is not momentary. Therefore, in order to dispel the errors of those who speak of permanent things, one should analyze and prove by distinguishing between the thing itself and the momentariness itself, and the wise have made the connection between proof and establishment. Therefore, in order to dispel the error itself, the valid means of inference has been shown. For those who are skilled at grasping the nature of things that possess all differences, is there no ability to grasp the momentariness of the manifest? However, for certainty, for what cannot grasp a part, its measure is also shown. The distinction without parts is: what is grasped by the manifest, whatever is definitely recognized as a distinction, that is what has become recognized. Because it has been said. Similarly, it should not be said that things and non-things are of the same nature, because they are the objects of different valid cognitions. Among them, the thing that performs the function of meaning, inseparable from its own characteristic, without confusion, appearing clearly, will be definitely determined by sense perception. The non-thing also has the characteristic of being separated from all functions, and because it does not appear, it will be called non-existent, therefore, establishment and negation, as the objects of experience of direct perception and inference, how can things and non-things be the nature of one thing? Or, shouldn't one know that one thing has two natures by means of negation? For example, like saying that this pot is not a meat-eater. If that were the case, the meat-eater would also be seen. Similarly, if it is said that the thing with the nature of existence is mixed with the part of the non-thing, that is not correct, because the example is different. Because saying that this pot is not a meat-eater, it only shows the difference from the meat-eater, like the woolen cloth that has a difference from the pot. As long as there is a difference in things, there is the ability to express it.
