That which is called "understanding" is through meditation. That which is called "making" is obtained from the Great Vajradhara, and is made by the one who collects that very melody, that very word, and the meaning that corresponds to it. The mandala of Samadhi is generated within the lotus, it is the mandala of manifestation. That which is called "Secret Assembly" refers to that which possesses the meaning previously explained. That which is called "blessing" refers to the chapter of joy and laughter; whichever has this is called the blessing of the Samadhi mandala of all the Tathagatas. That which is called "chapter" is the sound of fame, which separately shows the characteristic of completely cutting off the meaning of the tantra. Or, it is the sound of fame for union. It should be understood through the door of the distinction of the meaning of the limbs. Just as that which stops the harm of flies and sores is known as clothing, similarly, because it stops the near harm of afflictions, karma, and birth, it is similar to clothing, hence it is called clothing. Here, the Bhagavan spoke of the nature of the twelve links of dependent origination, which is the wheel of existence, as follows: ignorance, formation, consciousness, name and form, the six sense sources, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence, birth, old age and death. Among these, the first, eighth, and ninth, namely ignorance, craving, and grasping, are called afflictions. Because the root of all afflictions is ignorance. Because in impermanence, impurity, suffering, and selflessness, what appears as permanence, purity, pleasure, and self is ignorance, because it is the nature of the darkness of great delusion. That which acts together with it is existence, joy, and attachment, by which desire arises for the enjoyments of existence. Those previous existences, namely ignorance and the existences of the six realms of existence, are the root of all that remains in the wheel of existence. As it is said: "Having a self is the thought of others; with the distinction of self and others, attachment and aversion arise; those two are mutually related, and all faults will greatly increase." Grasping is also the nature of the increase of those aggregates.

each taken back. Thus, these are the afflictions. Similarly, the second and tenth, namely formation and existence, are karma. Among them, formation is of two kinds: associated with mind and not associated with mind. Among them, that which is associated with mind is of three kinds: virtuous, non-virtuous, and neutral. Neutral is of two kinds: obscured neutral and unobscured neutral. Among them, whatever is associated with afflictions is obscured neutral. Whatever is separated from that is unobscured neutral. Among them, that which is associated with mind is thought, feeling, perception, intention, contact, intelligence, memory, attention, special interest, samadhi, faith, shame, embarrassment, non-stinginess, non-hatred, non-ignorance, diligence, pliancy, conscientiousness, equanimity, non-harmfulness, from attachment to behavior, there are fifty-one in total. Attainment and non-attainment, shared fate, non-perception, cessation attainment, non-perception attainment, life faculty, birth, abiding, aging, impermanence, aggregates of names, aggregates of phrases, and aggregates of letters, these which are not associated with mind are fourteen. Existence is of three kinds: dying existence, intermediate existence, and birth existence. These are karma, because they are the nature of virtue and non-virtue. The remaining seven are categories of suffering, namely birth. Consciousness, name and form, six sense bases, contact, feeling, birth, aging and death. Among them, consciousness is the alaya consciousness, the afflicted mind consciousness, the eye consciousness, the ear consciousness, the nose consciousness, the tongue consciousness, the body consciousness, and the mind consciousness, there are eight in total. Or five: alaya, afflicted mind, sense consciousness abiding in one's own and others' continua, entering consciousness, and consciousness appearing separately for forms and so on. Or three
