and also separated. However, when entering the teachings, not even a single word can be explained with reason, because the statements are flawed. That is the person called White Lotus, similar to a cotton seed in a vase. If a cotton seed is placed in a vase, it will not grow, but will remain as it is. The sound of cotton refers to the cotton seed, thinking that it will not bear fruit from within the vase. The fragrance of the white lotus is like its own pistil, not spreading fragrance elsewhere. The person called Lotus is indicated by words such as "having faith," for example, the place of movement and non-movement is the earth. Similarly, the basis of the collection of all qualities is also faith. That which possesses this is having faith. Knowledge is understanding things as they truly are. Its result is compassion. Opening the door of wisdom upon hearing is called "hearing." After hearing Dharma, the Division of Non-being, tantras, and various measurable things from the lama, one is able to extensively explain with reason and metaphors. A hollow bamboo tube without holes is in the space. The bamboo tube is a flute. Just as it is heard clearly and pleasantly, so it is said that what the disciple hears during the teaching of Dharma is like that. Therefore, because it is similar to a lotus, it is a lotus. For the time being, the lotus itself is fragrant, and the fragrance pervades all directions in the same way; this is the nature of suchness. The person called Di Chandan is indicated by words such as "hearing little," hearing little means not being able to grasp profound Dharma. If at a crossroads, the teacher calls him out of affection, saying, 'Hey, handsome one, please get used to hearing, and I will strive to explain it for your sake.' He replies, 'I already know everything, so there is nothing that I do not understand.' He says this arrogantly and then leaves to go elsewhere. During debates, he speaks a lot, and if there are no errors when speaking of reason, but without a root...

This refers to abandoning unreasonable teachings. Therefore, it is said that one cannot be subsequently subdued and taken care of, meaning that the guru cannot make him a wise person. As it is said: The unintelligent can be happy and joyful, the one who is proficient in distinctions can be extremely joyful, but the one who only slightly understands wisdom is at fault, and even the Buddha cannot make him abandon it. It is like this saying. That is like sandalwood, it is a person called sandalwood. Sandalwood is because it has no fruit, and because it is surrounded by the incarnation of poisonous teeth, therefore no one will approach it. With the words "pure in discipline" and so on, it indicates the person called precious jewel. Discipline is not violating vows. Purity is purity of intention. Diligence in emptiness means having joy in pure activities. Having wisdom means being naturally sharp-witted. The so-called "one time" means that for the object of knowledge, saying it once can be remembered, and it will not be forgotten until the end of life. This is called "one time" because it has the wisdom obtained by Dharma nature. The so-called "explaining well after hearing" means that it is not out of one's own will, nor is it mixed with other views, this is to show that it is a trustworthy teaching. Therefore, like a precious jewel, because it is a priceless precious jewel, and it can fulfill hopes. Or, the precious jewels of such a collection of qualities are called precious jewels, because the suffix "Atsa" is added to the number of the first poxes, etc. Precious jewels and so on are the distinctions of the current powerful ones. Among them, sandalwood is a kind of inanimate object. Utpala is the last powerful one. The white lotus is the middle one. The lotus is the most excellent one. The precious jewel is the most excellent of the most excellent powerful ones. Therefore, these four persons can be spoken to the Sangha, and one is a vessel for teaching to disciples. In order to show this, it is said "like Utpala" and so on. The Vajra Acharya with wisdom, refers to the difference of their wisdom, otherwise everything will be mixed together. In order to proclaim the adornment that gathers the meaning of all the scriptures, there are six adornments.
