One should ritually consume mixtures of excrement, urine, and meat, with the prerequisite of completely purifying the heart and lungs. Whatever food and drink is obtained, one should contemplate it as being entirely transformed into meat and fluids, etc. The leftovers should be regarded as the substance of feces and urine. This is the inner fire offering. Then, the so-called "those," etc., all the Tathagatas are all sentient beings who are the essence of Vairochana, etc. Because it is said, "All these beings are the nature of the five Buddhas." The supreme offering of those (five Buddhas)' body, speech, and mind is the distinction of the offering, which is extracted from their own body, etc. The five offering substances are the five objects. The supreme offering of those (five Buddhas) is the pleasing objects. Therefore, this ritual of offering to oneself and others is (the ritual) of all Vajras, of all yogis. The vow that is extremely difficult to transgress refers to the vow that should not be transgressed. Having thus explained the common offering, in order to explain the special offering, therefore, it is said, "Then," etc. The so-called "all Tathagatas," etc., is what was just said. The offering of body, speech, and mind of these (Tathagatas) is secretly hidden. The so-called "by the union of the two faculties," etc., refers to the perfect union of Vajra and Padma. I have mentioned semen, etc., one should contemplate well that one's own semen has become large particles, etc. The so-called "sons and grandsons, etc., according to the ritual," refers to offering and accepting with the rituals of protection and nourishment, etc. If one does so, one will attain the Bodhi of the Buddha. Having thus explained the offering to oneself and others, in order to explain the offering to all realms of sentient beings, therefore, it is said, "Then," etc. The so-called "Tathagata" refers to, just as one comes at the time of birth, so one departs in the same way at the time of complete destruction, therefore, the Tathagata is all sentient beings. The so-called "vow of body, speech, and mind" refers to the vow of those yogis being followed, which is extracted from the body, etc., of that Bhagavan himself.

I. (Tibetan: ང་ངོ༌།) The realms of sentient beings are limitless. (Tibetan: སེམས་ཅན་ཁམས་རྣམས་མཐའ་ཡས་ཀྱི།) This refers to the assembly of sentient beings born from eggs, and so on. "To the mothers" refers to the eyes. (Tibetan: མ་རྣམས་ལ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་སྤྱན་ཏེ།) What is that? It is the earth. (Tibetan: སའོ།) How is it? It is said to be "holding the vows" (Tibetan: དམ་ཚིག་འཛིན་པའི་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་གསུངས་ཏེ།), the state of the three characteristics of sentient beings, birth, abiding, and destruction, is the vow, and holding it is therefore holding the vow. That which holds the vow should be enjoyed together with the earth that includes all the realms of sentient beings. "Enjoy with the vajra of the three vows" (Tibetan: དམ་ཚིག་གསུམ་གྱི་རྡོ་རྗེས་སྤྱད།) means that one should enjoy, rejoice, and follow the virtuous actions of one's own body, speech, and mind, and things that are beneficial, blissful, and close. This vow is the extraordinary thing of the Secret Assembly, because it completely holds the great assembly of sentient beings, so it is excellent. Having shown the manner of offering in this way, in order to show its purity, therefore it is said "then" and so on. Being common to all the offering rituals just mentioned, and transforming into the aspect of enlightenment, therefore truly holding those is "devouring." Its essence is the vajra, that is, taking it out. "Body, speech, mind, enjoyment" (Tibetan: ལུས་དང་ངག་སེམས་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ནི།) means that in the offering rituals, whatever actions of body and so on, those three secrets abide, vajra born. (Tibetan: གསང་བ་གསུམ་གནས་རྡོ་རྗེ་སྐྱེས།) "Truly arising from clear light, have even more faith" (Tibetan: འོད་གསལ་བ་ལས་ཡང་དག་པར་འབྱུང་བར་ལྷག་པར་མོས་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནི་ལྷག་མའོ།) means the remainder. Having had even more faith in this way, what should be done? "The good I shall accomplish" (Tibetan: བཟང་པོ་བདག་གིས་བསྒྲུབ་པར་བྱ།) means that the good is Vajradhara himself, or the Buddha himself. I shall accomplish, is to obtain, to generate stability. If it is not done in that way, what will happen at that time? "Here everything will be destroyed" (Tibetan: འདིར་ནི་ཡོང་ཡེ་འཇིག་པར་འགྱུར།) means that it makes all aspects of enlightenment fruitless, because there is attachment. In this way, the yogi, having shown the deep entry into the realm of sentient beings, again, in order to show the ritual of increasing one's own body, therefore it is said "then" and so on. Because it is accomplished by the Buddha himself and so on, therefore all accomplishers are his own body. His vajra,
