Now, the pure result will be explained. Afflictions and other impurities are masters because they are stable. If the mind that obscures them becomes pure, then all actions, whether virtuous or non-virtuous, will become pure. When actions become pure, the result for the yogi is that the yogi will attain the pure Dharmakaya, which is the characteristic of attaining the great state of Vajradhara. This is a concluding statement. Therefore, the condensed meaning is this: Lack of faith is the demon of the aggregates, the view of the perishable aggregate, and the obscuration of knowledge. Destroying these is the nature of faith, the terminator of Yama. Laziness and the demon of afflictions, the view of grasping, and the obscuration of afflictions—destroying these is the nature of diligence, the terminator of wisdom. Forgetfulness and the demon of death, wrong views, and the obscuration of birth—abandoning these is the basis of mindfulness, the terminator of the lotus. Distraction and the demon of the son of the gods, attachment to views, and the obscuration of karma—purifying these is the nature of samadhi, the terminator of obstacles. This is the completion stage. Now, the purification of the crown of the head and so on will be explained. Because it is grasped by this, it is the power of grasping. Attachment is the generation of attachment, which is the object. Appearance is attention. Immovable is that by which consciousness is not harmed, so grasping meaning is appearance. The four—eye, form, appearance, and attention—exist because of the difference in the causes of close acquisition and co-action. The moment of eye consciousness and so on that has just passed, the previous moment is the cause. Eye consciousness is the result; mind arises from the six causes. Or, from the eye and so on up to the birth of mind, mind arises from the senses. Cause and co-arising, maturation and proper association, all-going and equal share—cause is explained as six types. From these six, mind arises. Its purification is the explanation of the six wrathful ones from the King of Desire to the Crown of the Head.

That is the complete purification of consciousness, arising from the lineage of wrathful anger. It is said so. The six, such as the Samaya Vajra, are the six Bodhisattva heroes, as they eliminate all obscurations, etc., according to the reasoning explained in the first chapter. The five elements, such as earth, and the nature of the earth element and what is transformed from the elements, abide in the realm of consciousness, and are the complete purification of the elements and what is transformed from the elements. Maitreya and Samantabhadra are the nature of complete purification of all the roots and all the joints. The Vajra of Form, etc., are the six goddesses, which are the complete purification of the form skandha, etc. Therefore, the Vidyā is the king of the Vajra of Form, etc., and is the king of Vidyā, the Bodhisattvas. Vajra is the Bodhisattva, and whoever becomes the master of those, that is the master of Vajra, and the Vajra of Form, etc., are spoken of. That is the Completion Stage. When the universal conduct is explained, one should contemplate the body, etc., and the aggregates, etc., the union of skillful means and wisdom, the wisdom mudra, and the non-duality of equipoise. In an instant, the yogi has the form of the great Vajradhara, and one should generate the thought that all these beings are naturally pure. All fears, that is, the separation from the conceptual thoughts of birth and destruction, etc., are abandoned. Like a lion, without fear, eating whatever is edible and non-edible, etc., without discrimination, or eating with meditative absorption, not placing equally, in the four postures, seeing the nature of all with one's own deity yoga, always, that is, at all times, placing equally, and whatever conduct is with a mind that is free from all defilements, that is called universal conduct. It is the practice of extreme non-elaboration, that is, practice. When the practice of mantra is explained, when the sense objects, etc., are relied upon and taken up with the equipoise of wisdom and skillful means, the mind is the nature of bliss, and wisdom will arise. That which enables the mind to act in a contrary way, and protects that very reality, and thus saves.
