That is, the mothers of those are the consciousnesses of those. Being pleased by the touch of those three being truly combined, non-attachment is that the yogi will not be bound like livestock, because he possesses excellent means, namely, individually gathering them. The Buddhas are the senses and the objects. The mother is making those one, and meditating on them as the nature of the five Buddhas to please them, and non-attachment is that one should not grasp dissimilar mental activities. The rest is as before, namely, meditation. The Buddha is the mind of enlightenment. The mother is the bindu of that itself. The chief one is the nature of variety. To please is to make that itself go and come in the order of increase, and non-attachment is that dissimilar discriminations are not attached. The rest is as before, namely, life and effort. The Buddha-mother is non-conceptual wisdom. To please is to hold the bindu of the mind of enlightenment at the vajra peak with that wisdom itself, and non-attachment is that it will not waver. The rest is as before, namely, holding. The Buddhas are the Tathagatas. The mothers are the goddesses of the families, such as the eye, and the form Vajramatrika, and the wrathful ones. To please is to expand those from the bindu for the benefit of beings, and at that time, non-attachment is that one will not be grasped by discriminations of mere singleness of emptiness. The rest is as before, namely, mindfulness. Thus, the Buddha-mother is, by gathering all the Tathagatas, made of the dust particles of all the Tathagatas, the nature of conventional and ultimate truth, without duality, the nature of existence and peace being of one taste is the body of the deity. By the power of that itself accomplishing various benefits for beings, to please the chief one is that the yogi who focuses is not attached, that is, he will not be confused again by ordinary habits. At that time, the Buddha will manifest the attainment of the state of the nature of non-abiding nirvana. Non-discrimination is great compassion, and intelligence is great wisdom, namely, samadhi. That is the meaning.

O yogi who has attained existence! The Buddha is the five elements. The mother of these is the three letters. Pleasing them is established for the purpose of purification and so forth, do not conceptualize the habitual patterns of the final 'pa'. That yogi who practices the five nectars will attain Buddhahood, Vajradhara himself. If someone asks what the reason is, it is that conceptualization does not change into purity and impurity, and so on. 'Intelligent' means that intelligence is the meditation done as it is. Whoever possesses that is intelligent, through that. Or, intelligence is the recollection of the generation stage and so on. Whoever possesses that is the one who accomplishes it as it is. Here, the action is disputed: eating excrement and urine as food. If someone asks, wouldn't the yogi excessively become like a child in conduct, like dogs and wolves and so on, because of the conduct that contradicts the world as it is said? Answer: It will not be excessive, because one does not fixate on purity and so on in things understood by reason. For now, external things are neither pure nor impure, because we have two valid cognitions, namely direct perception and inference. Among these, direct perception is non-conceptual in nature, grasping only its own characteristic, not in this way, saying, 'This is pure and this is impure.' If it were like that, direct perception would excessively become associated with conceptual thought.

It is considered to be a free conceptualization imposed upon, not knowledge arising from things. Because it is neither other nor non-other. That very establishment is also due to the power of conceptualization, and that conceptualization is not a valid measure, it is determined by the elders. Therefore, manifest cognition does not distinguish between what is clean and unclean, etc. Nor is it by inference, for it is produced by the power of seeing the unfailing sign, like smoke and fire. If one infers things to be clean or unclean, etc., the unfailing sign is unseen. How is one to establish it thus: 'This is clean' and 'This is unclean'? Or, is not this foul odor and yellow color, etc., a sign? Foul odor is other, such as garlic, etc., and is a deceptive sign. Garlic, etc., is to be eaten by all. Then, should there not be dispute there as well? Do not say so. When boiling a collection of various substances during the practice of essence extraction, foul and fragrant odors are perceived, and that would also lead to not being able to eat. Furthermore, if foul odor is a sign of impurity and fragrant odor is a sign of purity, then winter wine has a fragrant odor, why do Brahmins not drink it? That would lead to it being drinkable. Yellow color, etc., is not a sign of impurity, etc., because gold, etc., is yellow, and because it is touchable, why do Brahmins take that gold? Therefore, all of this is mistaken. If it is unclean by contact with the fire of the stomach? If so, then because of contact with the fire of the cow's stomach, milk should not be drunk either. We do not say that warm contact is contact with the fire of the stomach, but rather that what matures in the place of semen is impure, such as semen, etc. If so, then because blood and semen, etc., do not mature in the place of semen, we would also drink them, which would be too extreme, enough.
