Because of the difference in nature, and because of having function and not having function. If one considers the unchanging, single entity as the cause, then at that time, either it constantly produces results or it never produces them, like the sky. Because of producing and not producing, and because of seeing differences from the previous time to the later time, and because of the decay of the same entity, it is impermanent. Then, if it is said that seeing the breaking of a pot with one's own eyes is impermanence, then, children will also recognize impermanence, because the nature of the entity is initially only destruction. At the time of rubble, because other fruits are produced, ignorant people will have the thought that the pot is destroyed. Therefore, if one admits the basis and the possessor of the basis, because it is impermanent, the self will not be established, this is only existence. It will not truly exist on the aggregates either, just like before, because the nature of the basis and the possessor of the basis is not reasonable. The aggregates are also the basis, so they are the cause, and the cause is in accordance with the result, therefore I am impermanent. The causes are also definite, because they are not possessed with the result, so sometimes I will not exist either. In the uninterrupted time, sometimes it also exists, because the dharmas of existence and non-existence are not suitable for the permanent self, like the sky. If the bowl has a related relationship like the fruit of the Terminalia chebula, then there is a fault, it will become dust. If there is a gathering relationship like these collections of causes are called felt, then there is no fault, if you say so. Then, what is gathering? If it is said to have the characteristics of a part and a whole, then, do these parts produce something different from the whole, or not different? Because no difference is found in the collection of causes felt, so for the time being it does not produce difference. If the collection of causes and the felt are different, then only the collection of causes is the part, and the whole felt is not. If it is said that because of performing actions such as covering, the felt exists, then, if the collection of causes does not exist, how can there be a gathering relationship? The collection of causes and the felt

O sons, because there is no otherness, and because there are no things with parts and without parts. Therefore, understanding that it is only through the distinction of the complete aggregation of causes that it becomes so, this term made is called cloth. Therefore, it refutes the doctrine that the maker and the non-other are parts. Therefore, the aggregates are not self. Since the self, different from that, is not perceived, how can it not be perceived, but by force clinging to it, one deceives one's own mind. Here, because the appearance of the absence of a pot is not perceived, there is temporarily no self. If it is said, how can there be no self because the non-appearance is not perceived? Do not say so, that which has the characteristic of contradicting the two valid cognitions is the cause of doubt. For that very reason, it is not appropriate to say that it exists. If it is said, then will a faithful conceptualization arise from doubt? Here it is said, there is doubt with meaning, doubt without meaning, and doubt of both. Among them, doubt with meaning is a limb of entering, while doubt without meaning and doubt of both are limbs of exiting, like extracting treasure, conquering a violent river, and a zombie. Therefore, relying on the latter doubts, it is only appropriate to exit with conceptualization. Even if entering from doubt, the later conceptualization is done first, because the appearance is not perceived, the self is not perceived, that is, the self different from the aggregates is not perceived. Just as fire and firewood, the mixture of self and aggregates is not perceived, because if there is no difference like this called fire and firewood, then if self and aggregates are admitted, then the aggregates and self will have different faults arising from a common basis, which is permanence. Now we should follow the real meaning, like this, ༄། །Because there is no common basis for the aggregates and the self, etc., the view of the perishable collection arising from the twenty rock peaks is exhausted, and the only pure and immaculate infinity becomes luminous like the sky. As it is said: The aggregates are not self, that is not there, there is no that in that. There is no that in that, there is no non-that. Like fire and wood, why is there no mixture of self and aggregates? Self, etc.
