How is it? Because the cause is exhausted and dies, this is to show the meaning of exhaustion. If the nature is not exhausted, then how can it be said to be exhausted? Therefore, nothing is produced, and nothing is destroyed. The path of birth and death is shown for the sake of need. Thus it is said. The venerable Rinchen Dronma also said: Just as from a rotten tree, wanting to get the essence, the trunk will wither and fall, and there is no essence to be found inside and outside. Thus, all dharmas should be known. Thus it is said. Similarly, from the real, the real thing will not be produced, and from the unreal, ༄། It will also not be produced. Constantly mistaking the real thing for the real, it is produced like a flower in the sky. It is not born from me, nor from others, nor from both, nor from no cause. No matter where, the production of real things is never reasonable. Thus it is said. Therefore, all things are not produced from the beginning, therefore, the Dharma is like being burned by fire, etc., and like being cut down, etc., the eyes, etc., have no function of taking form, etc. The so-called no self-nature means that the senses such as eyes are dharmas, and these also do not exist, because the two are mutually dependent and cannot be established. Because there is Dharma, the thoughts of the Dharma arise in the world. Thus it is said. Or, as before, because there are no aggregates, etc., the Dharma also has no characteristics such as permanence. The so-called no self-nature means that the Dharma measured by others' completely calculated self, etc., also does not exist, because there is no measure. Then, is it not true that the aggregates alone are me, and there is no present quantity that cannot be covered? In response, it is said: For the time being, other heretics admit that I am permanent, the creator of all, the pervasive, and the independent. But the aggregates are unstable, because they see the order of birth, death, and dwelling. Therefore, if only the aggregates are admitted as me, then I will also become impermanent. If you say that the aggregates are impermanent, but not me, then how is their self-relationship? Because it has it, it is consistent in an undifferentiated way.

It has such a nature of dharma. So, its own nature is also that for two things, the difference produced by eliminating from others exists. For example, for trees and deer, it is produced by non-trees and non-deer. Similarly, for the aggregates and the self, it will also become a relationship of permanence and impermanence. If you say so, do not say so! The so-called "elimination" refers to the negation of non-existence, not the negation of non-being. The negation of non-existence is the nature of non-existence that is separated from all abilities. Therefore, it cannot truly touch things. It is only the wisdom of discrimination that separates elimination as mere distinction, and imposes differences on things that have no difference. In order to make others believe, the names of dharma and possessor of dharma are used, but there is no difference in things themselves. If so, because it is observed through valid cognition, it is not possible to definitely obtain things. If you say it can be obtained, because valid cognition is observation, especially referring to subsequent inference. As long as the function of valid cognition is the illusion of discrimination, at the moment of non-discrimination, valid cognition and the object to be measured contradict each other, the nature of dharma and the selflessness of the individual, the ultimate truth of non-discrimination, naturally appears in the continuum of the yogi, just like the Tathagata. As it is said, these names that can be inferred are the reasons for dharma and the possessor of dharma that reside in wisdom, because the distinction between dharma and the possessor of dharma is made by the image of wisdom, not by things themselves. Similarly, that is not a thing, it is a complete elimination. Only things are strongly established. The sign is not a common object, and it is said to not reside in difference. It is said like this. Therefore, eliminating from others is not an existing thing. Things are only non-different. Therefore, the aggregates and the self are non-different, so it will become the fault of impermanence. If you say do not become such a fault, the self is the basis, and the aggregates exist here. This is also unreasonable, because the so-called "self" is established by valid cognition, but it is invisible, like the aggregates. Even if it exists, the basis is permanent, and the possessor of the basis is impermanent, which is also unreasonable, like space and a vase. For those with form and those without form, the nature of the basis and the possessor of the basis is unreasonable. Even if it exists

So, for those, is the basis beneficial? Or is it different from that? It is not beneficial, because there is no basis and no possessor of the basis. Otherwise, it would be too extreme. If it is beneficial, then with what nature does it benefit? Just like preventing falling, like a bamboo pole and a begging bowl, if so, then the bamboo pole prevents falling, it will produce other dharmas that do not fall, so the begging bowl is the cause itself. Therefore, whatever this relationship of basis and possessor of the basis is, it is the nature of cause and effect. Therefore, the cause is the basis, and the possessor of the cause is the effect. If the effect arises, then the cause will perish, so I am impermanent. The basis does not manifestly benefit the possessor of the basis, but by the difference of ability, if that is the case, then ability is what benefits, what do I do? Or I alone benefit, what does ability do? Or ability is what benefits, but is it one with me or different from me? If it is different, why is it said to be my ability? If it is one, then I alone benefit, ability is not. If it is a different ability, it acts by my relationship, then is the relationship of my being its nature, or is it a relationship arising from it? If it is its nature, then as before, because it is one, the sixth relationship of difference is reasonable. If it arises from it, then I am the cause, so ability is the effect, which will arise and perish. Or it is said like this: Here are two situations: the effect and the agent. The effect itself will be exhausted, and the agent itself will not be exhausted. Here is this example: the branches, sprouts, leaves, flowers, and fruits of the poisonous tree gradually exhaust, but the poisonous tree does not perish. Here is this answer: Children whose eyes of wisdom are obscured by the habits of gross manifestation clinging think that it is constant and does not perish, appearing separately, but in the ultimate truth it is only perishing. Because when the effect arises, what the cause is like, it is not the same when the effect perishes. With essence and without essence.
