Generation stage. Vighnāṃ (Tibetan: བིགྷྣཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Vighnāṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: Vighnāṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Obstacle) is contemplating the emptiness of those discriminations of self and other. By making the boundary appear, Vighnāṃ (Tibetan: བིགྷྣཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Vighnāṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: Vighnāṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Obstacle) takṛta (Tibetan: ཏ་ཀྲྀ་ཏ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: takṛta, Sanskrit Romanization: takṛta, Chinese literal meaning: Done) that is first combined. Vighnāṃ (Tibetan: བིགྷྣཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Vighnāṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: Vighnāṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Obstacle) is an obstacle to the meaning of sentient beings, that is, contemplating emptiness. From that, the body and mandala arise in sequence with the moon and vajra, anta (Tibetan: ཨནྟ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: anta, Sanskrit Romanization: anta, Chinese literal meaning: End) is that which makes it empty, so Vighnāṃ (Tibetan: བིགྷྣཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Vighnāṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: Vighnāṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Obstacle) takṛta (Tibetan: ཏ་ཀྲྀ་ཏ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: takṛta, Sanskrit Romanization: takṛta, Chinese literal meaning: Done) that is the supreme mandala king. Vighnāṃ (Tibetan: བིགྷྣཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Vighnāṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: Vighnāṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Obstacle) is one who has not attained the ten bhumis. By tasting nectar and so on, it is brought to the limit, so Vighnāṃ (Tibetan: བིགྷྣཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Vighnāṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: Vighnāṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Obstacle) takṛta (Tibetan: ཏ་ཀྲྀ་ཏ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: takṛta, Sanskrit Romanization: takṛta, Chinese literal meaning: Done) that is the supreme king of karma. Vighnāṃ (Tibetan: བིགྷྣཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Vighnāṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: Vighnāṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Obstacle) is appearance and so on. Those are brought to the limit by clear light, sa Vighnāṃ (Tibetan: ས་བིགྷྣཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: sa Vighnāṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: sa Vighnāṃ, Chinese literal meaning: With Obstacle) takṛda (Tibetan: ཏ་ཀྲྀ་ད་, Sanskrit Devanagari: takṛda, Sanskrit Romanization: takṛda, Chinese literal meaning: Done) that is the mind completely purified. The sequence of entering, abiding, and rising of the three letters, whatever is recited separately, that is an obstacle. By the recitation with undamaged limbs, it is brought to the limit, so it is the obstacle brought to the limit, that is, vajra recitation. Examining the aggregates, elements, and sources, it is brought to the limit by the samadhi like an illusion, so it is the obstacle brought to the limit, that is, blessing myself. Desire, non-desire, and those who desire are obstacles, the limit of those born together in sequence is not making an object, so it is the obstacle brought to the limit, that is, manifest enlightenment. Conventional and ultimate truths being different is an obstacle. The limit of those is making them inseparable, so it is the obstacle brought to the limit, that is, union. Explaining the intention is wisdom. Vighnāṃ (Tibetan: བིགྷྣཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Vighnāṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: Vighnāṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Obstacle) is method. The limit of those is making them combine, so it is the obstacle brought to the limit, that is, nature. The sexual organs of ordinary worldly men and women are obstacles, the limit of those is gathering them with transmundane conduct, so it is the obstacle brought to the limit, that is, the cause. The transfer of bodhicitta is an obstacle, because the bliss born together is impaired. Therefore, by the letters such as Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Hūṃ, Sanskrit Romanization: Hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Sanskrit Devanagari: Phaṭ, Sanskrit Romanization: Phaṭ, Chinese literal meaning: Phaṭ), it is made stiff, and the limit is protecting, so it is the obstacle brought to the limit, that is, karma. Obstacles are joy, supreme joy, and joylessness. The fourth of those is the limit, because it makes it of one taste, so it is the obstacle brought to the limit, that is, the result. Separately gathering and so on, disagreement is an obstacle, those separately gathering

The end of the six limbs, such as pa, is destruction, so it is the destroyer of obstacles, which is yoga. The root downfall and gross transgressions are obstacles, and those are destroyed by vows and precepts, so it is the destroyer of obstacles, which is practice. All Tathagatas are the body, speech, and mind of all sentient beings, which are the rakshasas and others that harm the body, speech, and mind. Being afraid of those is to frighten them with the form of the wrathful appearance of the Great Seal. It is called residing in the northern gate, which is the generation stage. Gather together with "All Tathagatas" and so on. All Tathagatas are the obstacles of the body, speech, and mind of the mandala assembly together with the mandala lord, and they are pleased by destroying them, which is to make them happy, and that is what it is called. Similarly, the mandala is the basic mandala, and its samaya is the act of binding the Vajra net and so on, and thinking for that purpose is a mind with diligence. Similarly, the mandala is the mandala with a basis, and its samaya is difficult because there is differentiation, and thinking is a mind with diligence, which is the generation stage. Thus, on the central lotus is the Bhagavan. On the petals are the four Tathagatas. In the corners are the goddesses Eye and so on. In the four corners of the outer row are Form Vajra Mother and so on. Touch Vajra Mother is embraced by the Bhagavan. On the four cloths, starting from the eastern cloth, Maitreya and so on, two each, are the eight Bodhisattvas. On the eastern and other gates are Yama Destroyer and so on. On the corners of the southeast and other gates are Acala and so on. Above and below, the King of Harm and Beauty and the Crown Chakra King should be placed. The distinctions of their body color, hands, and so on have been explained before. So, the Bhagavan has shown thirteen deities in this chapter, why does it say thirty-two? The answer to this is that the Bhagavan has shown it in the immediately preceding beginning, and there is no fault.
